Is it just me or is anyone else disappointed with the MP? I mean the graphics are basically the same as MW2. Black Ops was way better IMHO. Looks like I'll be going back to playing BF3... pathetic version of MW for its standards. Didn't think I was paying 60 bucks for MW2 again.. expected better.

COD online is like the greatest form of crack/heroin ever created... you'll suck at the start, fumble a bit, think the high isn't worth it cause you are doing it wrong but after giving it another shot, you'll see why it's the best drug ever.

Thanks for the encouragement, I may try it.

It's amazing at all of the people complaining about this game, it is a direct sequel to MW2. There is no need to go and rebuild a game from the ground up when what you have works just fine. The lighting seems to have been upgraded over the past games which is nice as that seems to make or break a game graphically to me. The game looks good to me and it's nice they didn't change a formula that just simply works. As for the same gun sounds and models, in real life a M4 from 2009 is not going to look or sound any different 2 years later and as this game seems to pick right up where MW2 left off there is no need to go changing all of that for no reason. I will be picking the game up on Friday and I am looking forward to it, the CoD games have never really disappointed me as I know what I am getting.

So all they have to do is make sure that every CoD game in the MW series, picks up where the last one left off.. No need to innovate ever then.

and you have the other guys all trying to copy them, talk **** to hype their own failed products and all in the meanwhile wish they were half as successful as these guys. people troll while they laugh all the way to the bank. it's actually ****ing hilarious.

Does MW3 have vehicles?

no and it's the best feature of it's MP...

I don't see how the "other guys" are copying them? I mean, COD isn't the first military shooter... so technically COD is copying the other guys ;)

lol.. "Advanced UAV"... Might as well kept the name for it in Black Ops...

BF single player is, new MoH was, rainbow six games are pretty much CoD clones now, ... over the top scripted action in a FPS is a CoD thing. started with CoD 1.

Sure sounds like it.

They don't need to innovate because who needs innovation when the motto "Don't fix what ain't broken", is what Activision goes for EVERY god damn year.

Seriously... I can't even take you seriously any more.... your blind lies, and fanboyism is pretty far reaching....

Call of Duty - Release date - 2003

Medal of Honor - Release Date - 2001

fine my bad, but still the EXACT SAME IW guys who created both games originally ;)

Broke down and rented the game from Redbox, Ill admit so far the campaign is not half bad and I am a few missions in. It definitely feels like a Call of Duty game, looks like one too. But there are also "woah" moments I didnt expect to have. Hoping to beat it in one night as I actually have alone time. Maybe even trynsome MP after the campaign.

SO after a couple of hours playing it (on xbox) I came to the conclusion that while fun, its a expansion pack to MW2 at best. at least 1 - 2 recycled maps from COD 4. It should have been a $29.99 DLC or something. If I payed for MW3 I'd be ****ed right now. COD Elite will fail completely and its still alot more fun that BF3.

These are my own videos that I've uploaded for you guys to view, hopefully this gives you a little more insight on the maps and how I feel about the game in general. Please take the time to watch the videos as they are full length matches. It should give you a view on how the games actually play out, what to expect, and what gun I might have fallen in love with. It is in 720p, so be sure to swap it to that option.

I got COD4, WaW, MW2 as gifts and my brother bought black ops so paying for MW3 didn't feel bad even though I felt the same way,

I am going to concur on the MW 2.5 side of things. It is quite true: same old engine (that is now really showing its age), same old MP modes, similar campaigns but it is still a very good fun game.

I did the first four missions and there are some Wow moments in the campaign. Then the friends came up and we played Domination. I got all my reflexes back in 10 minutes and we had a blast for two hours.

There are some balances changes in MP, some good: no more Lightweight/arathon/Commando Model 1887 (yay!), some bad: can I have the Tar-21 back, please?

I do not know if I am going to play as much as MW3 as I did with MW2 but I am not disappointed.

Man, the developers are getting lazier and lazier. This is what you get when MW3 crashes:

<Error Message>

Seriously? Wow, I've not read much about MW3 despite my original intentions of buying it, but the more I seem to read the more disappointed I think I'm going to be with it. They just don't seem to have made the effort this time.

Exact same thoughts here

have to disagree with my friend Vyk and others on the engine, it looks at least as good as Black Ops, better than MW2 for sure. of course not as good as it could look, but i wouldn't call it ugly on the 360 compared to BF3. that one only has a slightly higher res and better lighting. this is COD, it's like complaining about a long running TV show, of course it's more of the same, why do you even watch it if you don't want more of the same? the MP is just as fun as ever.

    • Halo: Campaign Evolved is out next month with new prequel missions by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Microsoft offered a look at the upcoming Halo: Combat Evolved remake at the Xbox Games Showcase today. The Halo Studios-developed title is not only getting a fully remade campaign, but also new content in the form of a fresh story arc featuring Sgt. Johnson. Fans don't have to wait long, either, as Halo: Campaign Evolved is releasing next month. The new content joining the original campaign consists of three new missions that have the name "Operation: METEORITE" attached to the full project. Aside from ground-based combat, space missions are also included here. These prequel missions will take players to events set before the original campaign, where the Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson duo team up for a clandestine UNSC operation aboard a Covenant research vessel. The studio says that the story for these missions was written in collaboration with award-winning sci-fi author Troy Denning. "Operation: METEORITE gives players a chance to expand their experience with new locations, new enemy variants, more weapons from across the Halo series, and new ways to play within the Halo sandbox, all while getting to spend more time with beloved characters and witness a new event that adds to the legacy of their heroic history," adds Halo Studios. Today's new trailer showed off the game in action, including the new missions. Catch it below. Halo Campaign Evolved is coming out on July 28, 2026. It will be available across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 with a $49.99 price tag. A digital premium edition will also be available for $69.99, offering five days of early access, extra in-game skins, and a digital art collection. A $199.99 physical Collector's Edition is also incoming, bringing a Master Chief statue, a Cortana chip, a Steelbook case, and more.
    • To give context to everybody, I bought about 2 sets of RAM, ddr4, 3200, 64 gb, 2 years ago. It costed me 150 usd for each set. If you buy RAM now you only incentivate companies to sell you expensive stuff, as Nvidia did.
    • KillerPDF 1.4.2 by Razvan Serea KillerPDF is a lightweight, portable PDF editor for Windows built for users who want full control without subscriptions, installers, or telemetry. It runs as a single executable, making it ideal for USB use and field work. You can view PDFs with smooth PDFium rendering, navigate quickly with thumbnails, zoom, and shortcuts, and reorganize pages using drag-and-drop. It supports merging multiple PDFs, splitting documents, and extracting selected pages. KillerPDF also allows inline text editing with font matching to preserve the original layout, plus annotations like text boxes, freehand drawing, highlights, and reusable signatures. You can search full text, copy content easily, and print documents with flattened annotations. Designed as a free and open alternative to bloated PDF tools, it works fully offline on Windows 10/11 x64. No runtimes install. Everything needed is inside the EXE (targets .NET Framework 4.8, which ships with every supported Windows release). KillerPDF key features: High-quality PDF rendering via PDFium Edit PDF text inline (double-click to modify text) Page thumbnails and fast navigation with zoom and shortcuts Merge multiple PDFs into one Split PDFs and extract selected pages Drag-and-drop page reordering Font matching to preserve original document appearance Text boxes for notes Freehand drawing tools Highlight overlays with adjustable color, size, opacity Undo actions and clear per-page annotations Create, draw, and save reusable signatures Click-to-place signatures anywhere Full-text search with highlighted results Drag-select or Ctrl+A to copy text Print with annotations flattened Portable single-file app (~10 MB) No installer, no admin rights required No account, no telemetry KillerPDF 1.4.2 changelog: What's new PDF form filling. Interactive PDF forms now render their fields (text inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons) as live controls. Fill them in directly and save — field values are written back into the PDF. PDF outline (bookmark) navigation. A new OUTLINES tab in the sidebar displays the document's bookmark tree. Click any entry to jump to that page. The sidebar auto-fits its width to the longest entry on open and can be dragged wider; switching back to PAGES snaps to the pages-mode width. Fixed Page rotation no longer reverts after saving. Rotations applied via the sidebar context menu now persist correctly through the save pipeline. Copied text words were out of order on PDFs where glyphs are stored in non-reading order (Issue #66). Text extraction now sorts words by position and uses a dynamic line-grouping threshold so both drag-select and Select All produce correctly ordered output. PDFs with malformed or non-standard XRef tables now open in read-only mode instead of showing "Invalid entry in XRef table" and failing entirely.
