GI Joe 2 : Retaliation

The post by Rappy two posts up suggests otherwise.

I didn't see his post, but yeah.. well. If they can get JGL that would be great.

Haven't seen the first one, but this looks worthy of a watch, with Bruce Willis & The Rock. Nothing else out around the planned release date, so why not

Olympus has fallen comes out on 3/22 and then GI Joe on 3/29...which one do you think will do better? Considering that OHF has gotten way more promotion so far on tv I think that GI Joe will tank.

The first one revolved around all the cartoons I saw and how things would be hard to believe of where things are located such as bases and weapons used. But as I said in my last post..seems Duke is killed off from the lack of seeing him in the rest of the trailers from that opening attack which kills it alittle for me. In the cartoons none of the main characters were ever killed so why screw up a good thing?

Wrong. TWO main characters (one on each side) bit it in the animated series - Lt. Falcon's estranged brother (either Hawk OR Duke) bit it in that climactic battle against Serpentor's forces, as did Globulus (the Cobra-la emperor and Serpentor's #2) - in the MARVEL comic series, Serpentor was assassinated by Zartan on orders from Cobra Commander; it turns out it was almost an instant replay of Zartan's killing of the Hard Master of the Arashikage clan (the SAME clan to which SNake Eyes and Storm Shadow belong), also on orders from that escapee from the used-car business (pre-Cobra, CC ran a used-car dealership).
