hmm I'm assuming we get our CD keys emailed to us eventually to activate?

They don't email product keys ever. if you pre-ordered the game from Blizzard they will just tag it on your account at Midnight (or whenever it is for your time zone) and you can login.

Has anyone heard when the servers go live? At midnight (US)? Kind of dumb that there's no Midnight release around my area... *Sad Panda*

For the Americas region, comprising the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia, the game servers will go live at 12:01 a.m. PDT on May 15

Just a heads up, you can actually watch cinematics for act 1 at the main menu. There are one for every character type.

I noticed that too. I SOOO want to watch them, but I'm trying to make myself wait for when I'm actually playing..."trying" is the key word. I feel my will power slowly draining.

Aussies shafted again, is there anywhere worse to be a gamer?

UPDATE at 4:00pm: GAME Australia texted customers today informing them that they will not be stocking Diablo III and anyone who pre-ordered the game will not receive a refund. While some GAME customers have told Polygon that they have been assured by GAME staff that they will receive their pre-orders and select GAME retailers managed to receive stock, the official word from GAME Australia came in a text message that Kotaku Australia obtained, which reads:

"Due to the appointment of an administrator to our business this morning, it is with regret that I inform you all that our stores will not be receiving any stock of diablo 3 (sic). Because of this, we regrettably will be unable to fulfill any pre-orders. Also, we will be unable to refund any deposits paid towards a pre-order of diablo 3. If you need any more info, please email [email protected]"

So the Diablo 3 Starter Edition has been announced, for the first 30 days people need a guest pass to access it though.

If anyone bought the boxed copy would they consider giving me their guest pass when they get theirs in the post, thanks.

    • Sound Booster 1.13 Build 575 by Razvan Serea Increase volume on your laptop. Boost the volume of even very quiet speakers. Raise volume above maximum. Letasoft Sound Booster can be used as an extra amplifier when the volume of the program you are listening to is too low for comfortable listening and you feel that your PC’s speakers can produce a louder sound. This can be the case when the audio or video has been recorded at the level below normal. Or, for example, when the other person’s microphone you are talking to on Skype, is not working properly. There can be a plenty of other reasons why the sound is being too quiet and there is not much you can do about it except buy external speakers. Sound of any application that is being played in the system can be amplified up to 500%. Letasoft Sound Booster can raise volume of programs like web browsers, on-line communication software (Teams, Discord, Zoom), any kind of media player or games. Simply put, volume of virtually any program that can play any sound in PC, can be boosted to a comfortable level with Letasoft Sound Booster. You can control current volume with the pop-up slider from the system tray. Alternatively, you can assign system-wide hot keys for increasing and decreasing, and use them when you need to adjust volume Letasoft Sound Booster constantly monitors current gain level and prevents samples from clipping, thus reducing all major sound distortions. • I own these and the normal QuietComfort ones from Bose. The QC are amazing and I want to love these, but for the life of me, I have a terrible time getting them attached to my ears.
    • Thanks for the tip. I am giving it a try. Initial quick impression: I like it.
