Weird, I did that last night but when the download finished I was not able to actually install it. It stated that Blizzard had not enabled that ability yet. I figured that I wouldn't be able to do the actual install until Tuesday. Seems weird...

It did download all of it so it is there but it just won't let me install the game.

It should work now.. they unlocked the ability 3 hours ago.

I had some error with Tome2.MPQE or whatever it is... Apparently the blizzard downloader didnt download all the files.

Mine was Tome3... If you re-run the downloader it will finish/fix everything. You have to make sure you point it at your download folder, not the folder that the installer is downloaded to.

(i.e.: If your installer is in "/Users/Name/Downloads/Diablo-III-8370-enUS-Installer" then tell it to download to "/Users/Name/Downloads".)

I'm totally p'eed off at the moment, 2 copies have been shipped to me and none have arrived, both were sent last Thursday, so should have been here by now :( I wish Game in the uk had stayed dead as at least I would have had my copy by now from ShopTo, everyone I know who ordered from them got their copies Saturday or Today :( Whereas I who ordered mine 3 years ago from game have had nothing, but charged twice due to their demise and buyout with two copies sent :(

Well it's not 'out' yet. It's still the 14th. lol. You're not missing anything so far, because the servers won't be on till 12AM PDT.

I did that, it decided to download all 7.60GB again :(

I'm on the east coast, so servers won't be live for me until 3AM...booooo.

Maybe I should go to bed early and wake up a few hours early before work...

This is exactly my plan. Go to sleep early (9:30, 10:00), get up around 5. Play till 8 when I need to get ready for work.

    • What they really need to do is automatically spell "loses" and "lose" correctly since nobody seems to know how to anymore. Then they blame spellcheck/autocomplete and don't realize autocomplete is just filling in the word for them automatically so it was misspelled in the first place.
    • If someone chooses to continue using SB and therefore goes through the manual intervention in the thread, afterwards the BSOD problem is gone. Whether they then re-enable the task doesn't matter, they're done, though on such machines it might pay to keep it disabled in case the next update (if there is a next) causes the same problem. OTOH, if someone disables SB in the BIOS, the problem is also gone. Incidentally, I noticed that this task exists even on machines that don't support SB. It's just installed across the board...and runs. Doing what on such machines is a little hazy.
