ichi
My work laptop. I like the aesthetics of Gnome Shell but I can't stand it's workflow, so I'll stay with classic Gnome as long as I can :/
MidnightDevil
Here's mine, e17 with the default B&W theme, since there the usual edj files aren't compatible with this version with the version now on ubuntu 11.10 repositories, I have to find out either new themes, or what happened to the old theme support. Yorak
Man, I never found an E17 that didn't look like it was designed in 1999.
MidnightDevil
Lol, they are almost all alike. Aside from a few gadgets here and there... I found some working themes finally, but there aren't that many since the old edj became unsupported.

MidnightDevil
Seems like a lot of people jumped from unity to gnome shell.. it's a nice choice :)
ViperAFK
I love the look.. how?? Its just slightly modified gnome-shell. You need a distro that has gnome 3/gnome-shell (ubuntu 11.10 has it in its repositories, fedora 15/16 and opensuse 12.1 gnome have it default. Mint 12 will have it) If you are using ubuntu you need to install gnome-shell from the repos, and log into it at the login screen (click the gear and choose the GNOME session). Then install gnome-tweak-tool which will allow you to change the shell theme, GTK theme, and icon theme. and install these: http://lassekongo83.deviantart.com/art/Zukitwo-203936861 http://tiheum.deviantart.com/art/Faenza-Icons-173323228 If you are on ubuntu you can use a ppa to install these and have them automatically updated: For the theme: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/themessudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install zukitwo-theme-all

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiheum/equinoxsudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install faenza-icon-theme
