Veteran Posted November 20, 2011 Veteran Share Posted November 20, 2011 Something weird that I noticed: if you're scrolling through a long conversation, you can only go back a certain amount (I counted 300 for one contact, with a mix of SMS and iMessages) before "Load Earlier Messages" stops. However, the SQLite file that holds your messages contains everything, which I verified by grabbing a phone backup extractor*. Any way to force the Messages app to load everything, or it cannot be done due to performance reasons? *Iit's infuriating just about every possible iOS backup available requires registration to view/restore backups. >.> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
