End of the age of Pisces! Bring on the water-bearer!.... Or the destruction of the earth, either will work.. And if I magically survive that, please let there be alcohol still, and atleast one porn websites server still alive.

Realistically, AC:III and less lawsuits/religious nutjob groups coming out of the woodwork. Bring on the rapture and get them out of here already, so the rest of us can live in peace. Two birds, one stone ;).

A general method for teleporting common small molecules (H2O, etc)

A video game console with at least 6GB of memory

A real alternative to Intel CPUs

An extension of the blue line of Montreal's metro (so it goes where I live)

Certainly nothing of that will happen. :pinch:

1. Better health care system and health care for those in poverty without jumping through hoops

2. New President(Someone who will actually fix what's wrong here)

3. Lower gas prices(1.10-2.00 like in the 90's)

4. U.S. Stops sticking their nose in other countries affairs, let them handle it themselves.

5. Tax the crap out of celebrities and not let them get money back when donating to charities during tax time

6. Stop trying to censor and outlaw downloading of music, internet etc (You'll never control us)

7. Neowin gold edition theme (yes?)

8. World domination ran by Hum or Rappy

9. Shoot a celebrity day

10. End all reality shows and bring back "must see tv"

11. Stop raising taxes on everything, just because the government can't manage money, properly

12. John McCain punt a midget like a football...

13. End of the world?

Whole new government (well the 33 in the Senate and all the Reps)

Donation cap on lobbyist.

Term limits fixes this real quick, no more that 8 years as a Senator/Congressweasel/President

New President, especially one that does not hate on businesses

Less freeloaders looking for the government ###### to suck on

A damn job that pays well based on my education and effort

Peace for Israel, they are long overdue

  • World peace
  • A global ban on internet censorship
  • A global ban on surveillance technology (since there is no more need for it's wartime use if we have world peace)
  • The ability to live and work in any country without needing to go through tedious and expensive legal processes

  • cooler weather
  • for money to not be as important
  • to have an awesome home server

  • A democratic government in Libya
  • A democratic government in Egypt
  • The downfall of all the last dictators
  • The capturing and/or killing of every Al-Qaeda member and anyone associated with them (Al-Qaeda)
  • A better year for the new Danish government, which was elected a few months ago but are not doing that well
  • A new Foreign Affairs minister in DK
  • The release of Windows 8
  • Tech prices to be lowered
  • Gas prices to be lowered, while highly unlikely

That's pretty much it I think :) Not all of these are possible, but this is what I wish for 2012.

    • Microsoft confirms Windows 11 26H2 to finally get one of the most requested features by Sayan Sen This past week Microsoft officially confirmed Windows 11 version 26H2 with the latest build, 26300.8697, for testing in the experimental Insider channel. The company also published more details about it mainly directed towards IT admins and system admins. Essentially version 26H2 will be delivered via an enablement package (eKB) over Windows 11 25H2. If you are wondering about some of the upcoming features in the next Windows version, one of them is certainly very interesting as Microsoft has confirmed it is finally bringing one of the most overwhelmingly requested features ever. March Rogers, the Partner Director of Design at Microsoft, recently highlighted some of the Search improvements that the company is testing, and during the interaction with users on X where he posted it, Rogers also confirmed that the company is working on disabling web search results inside Search. This is something which many users find quite annoying as Windows would often serve them links to Bing which it feels could be more helpful rather than bringing up the actual object or app the user may be searching for on their PC. Finally though the company is prioritizing local file search over the web. However the feature could not be disabled for many users as not all new features are immediately rolled out to everyone. Image via phantomofearth (X) Windows enthusiast phantomofearth who likes to dig deep into new builds uncovered the IDs you will need to enable these features. Using the following feature IDs the new Search-related features landing in Windows 11 26H2 can be used. Follow the steps below to enable the new Search experience on Windows 11 build 26300.8697: Download ViveTool from GitHub and unpack the files in a convenient and easy-to-find folder. Press Win + X and select Terminal (Admin). Switch Windows Terminal to the Command Prompt profile with the Ctrl + Shift + 2 shortcut or by clicking the arrow-down button at the top of the window. Navigate to the folder containing the ViveTool files with the CD command. For example, if you have placed ViveTool in C:\Vive, type CD C:\Vive. Type vivetool /enable /id: and press Enter. Restart your computer. If you change your mind and want to restore, repeat the steps above and replace /enable with /disable in the commands on steps 5 and 6. Delightedly and perhaps also expectedly, once you disable web search and other such bloat, the Windows 11 Search is said to get snappier as remarked by another Windows enthusiast Xeno.
