I know.

Haha, yea it needs cleaning badly :p

Also why is the x4 "stupid"? It's a brilliant keyboard! Typing is very nice, and the backlit keys are great when in the dark!

Is it necessary to have so many computers, tablets, and smart phones?

When you build apps and other crap for all platforms I would say yes.. I don't even have quite a few I need to get. I need to get Galaxy Tab, I need to get iPhone 4S and I need to get Galaxy Nexus

I wanna show mine, but my cables are just as messy. :/ I hate that, not matter what I do, I can't seem to get them organized.

ha that's exactally how i felt and then i tried to do a bit of organizing and it worked for the most part to the point where i felt the pic was good enough

My battlestation:

Rig specs:

i7 2700k @ 4.8

MSI R6950 2GB @ 950/1400

8GB 1600Mhz RAM (Corsair Vengeance)

ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 mobo

3x1TB Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000 (hence the SSD upgrade as a boot drive)

Antec CP-850 PSU

Antec DF-85 case

Antec Kuhler 620 CPU cooler with 2 Akasa Viper fans in push/pull

screens:

NEC MultiSync EA261WM 26" monitor

Generic 19" Dell monitor

speakers:

SPIRIT Absolute 4P active studio monitors

Edirol FA-66 audio interface sound card

Audio Technica ATH M50 headphones

also <3 my desktop skip. might be my favourite thing on there lol

Anyone else getting a kick out of the number of high dollar unshielded speakers sitting right next to high dollar computer systems slowly demagnetizing (or re-magnetizing depending on how you look at it) their hard drives?

The latest change to my desk involves the addition of a monitor stand. I think it was the best purchase I have made in a while as it really freed up the desk for usage. Not sure if I should post the old setup to gauge the change, but I'll do so hoping it doesn't clutter the post.

Now that is what I call a workstation

    • On the one hand, it shouldn't be difficult. You buy a computer, you decide what OS you want, which browser etc. Simple enough. But that's the techie side of things. My sister, my mother, wouldn't bother with such a thought. And I'm pretty sure that if you presented a window asking them what to pick they would say, "I don't care! I just want to access my Email!"

    • Anyone who expects MS to play fair is a complete idiot.
    • Everyone behaves like Internet Explorer just never happened and Edge is whole new thing all while Microsoft is pulling the exact same ###### it did back then. Sigh.
