Slow Safari, laggy keyboard since updating 3GS to 5.0.1. Anyone else?

My 3GS was running 4.0.1 & I could post on forums perfectly fine. I'm not a fast typer btw.

Upgrade to 5.0.1 & Safar suddenly becomes very slow & my keyboard lags so bad. It's always like 10keys behind me. Funnily though, it seems to be working fine on neowin. Why would that be? It was laggy on other forums that I'm on & I notice it when I'm making a post.

Even if I close down all apps, it makes no difference. Wonder what's different about neowin though that it's not doing it.

Is/has the iPhone been jailbroken, also, did you "upgrade" the firmware or perform a "restore" to iOS 5.0.1.?

Mine lags a bit (not as bad as you describe) because I've JB'd it and only lags on 'heavy' sites with a lot of JS and Ajax.

It's just the 3GS showing it's age, not much we can do about it.
