Vettel may just have stopped due to low fuel? I missed that so not sure.

Well, I heard Vettel's team radio, and they told him repeatedly to stop the car, so it sounded a bit urgent.

Well, I heard Vettel's team radio, and they told him repeatedly to stop the car, so it sounded a bit urgent.

It could be anything, but a gearbox issue or low fuel would mean a grid-place penalty. We'll have to wait and see.

Hahahaha............... at least the FIA have been consistent in their punishments, anything less than exclusion from quali and there would have been hell to pay.

Having said that I REALLY don't want Alonso to win the championship, can't stand the arrogant ****.

I really want Mark or Kimi to win.

Why don't the drivers and team just admit that they are low on fuel and have made a mistake, instead of pleading innocence and pretending they don't know why the car was stopped?

"We've cocked up and slightly under fueled the car" is so much simpler than blaming Renault or anonymous engineers etc.

I posted earlier that I thought it was because of low fuel. Had a feeling that was the case. See it so much the last few years.

And yeah, they don't wanna say that's why, because its auto disqualification. Although, I very much doubt they'd ever get away with it, even if they do blame an engine problem, the FIA needs the fuel sample from the car. So they are going to find out at some point that they didn't have enough fuel.

I've heard that they can tip the cars/open injectors etc and get the fuel out for the required sample, however I think that's only after a race. They couldn't do that between quali and the race as the car is in parc ferme.

A bad mistake from Red Bull at a critical moment, it would be unfortunate if something like this ends up deciding the championship but as much as I despise Ferrari having a winner that isn't Red Bull would be great

For anyone watching the live commentary, it says that vettel made a mistake under safety car. That is not true, Ricciardo infront of him kept stepping on the brakes and Vettel had to swerve to miss him and hit a marker at the side of the track doing further damage to his wing.

He has just came into the pits and got a new wing.

I think Ricciardo should be penalised/warned about that, he was repeatedly doing it. Stepping on the brakes over and over, obviously trying to get brake temp up, but you just cant do that with a car so close behind. Not as violently as he was anyway

Abu Dhabi, only 8 laps so far and so much action. Lap 1 accident, I suppose one of the ForceIndia is going to get penalized? What do you guys think about the accident between HRT and Rosberg?

Racing incident, Karthikayen shouldn't have lifted where he did but I don't think that can be penalised. No fault on Rosebergs part, when Karthikayen lifted, the closing speed was so great that there was no way Rosberg could've avoided that with the gap they had between them.

If the HRT had an issue then I don't believe any action will be taken.

Love watching on TV with live timing on laptop.

EDIT:

Hamilton is out. No engine power. Out on lap 21 :(

Bloody mclaren reliability :(

    • Chrome is also a first party browser on Android and ChromeOS. And on those systems, Google is pulling the same dirty tactics as Microsoft does on Windows.
    • Unofficial script lets you install unreleased Windows 11 features without Microsoft Account by Sayan Sen Microsoft has been steadily evolving the Windows Insider Program over the years, introducing new channels and testing paths that allow enthusiasts to experience upcoming and yet-to-be-released Windows features (some interesting hidden ones too) before they reach the public. However, one long-standing requirement has remained largely unchanged as users are generally expected to enroll in the Program and with a Microsoft account. That's where a third-party tool called "OfflineInsiderEnroll" can help. OfflineInsiderEnroll is said to be a lightweight script that enables access to Windows Insider Program builds on systems that are not signed in with a Microsoft account. Essentially the tool configures the necessary Insider settings locally and hence allows users to select and switch between available preview channels while continuing to receive builds through the normal Windows Update channel. If you are wondering how it manages to do so, it is made possible by a Registry value known as TestFlags. When configured to"0x20", Windows stops communicating with Microsoft's online Insider enrollment services thus preventing locally configured Insider settings from being overwritten. This allows the script to apply its own channel configuration directly through the Registry as Windows Update does not verify whether a device has been officially enrolled in the Insider Program or not. Previously the utility has had already supported the traditional Insider branches including Dev, Beta, and Release Preview. However following Microsoft’s recent restructuring of its preview channels, the script has now been updated. The latest OfflineInsiderEnroll version, 2.6.6, adds support for the newly introduced Insider channel lineup. As such, users can now choose from several Experimental channels in addition to Beta and Release Preview options. The update also retains tools for refreshing the Insider cache, resetting Insider settings, and completely stopping Insider enrollment when needed. Keep in mind though that will need elevated privileges when running the script (run as Admin). You can get the latest version of OfflineInsiderEnroll from this page on its official GitHub repo.
    • The "Classic" Outlook has done that for a few years as well. The option to even change that is really hidden away too... It really shouldn't be hard to respect user defaults. Sadly we are the product now, not Outlook. To change in the Classic Outlook: File > Options > Advanced > change "Open hyperlinks from Outlook in"
