Sikh
Dont know how many times I say this at work, is IMAP On(under gmail mail settings)? Also, if your password is working, have you tryed logging in to gmail via safari? If that works have you tried the official gmail app? If that also works, then try it one more time. If it still acts up, delete your gmail account or any gmail accounts under settings completely. Open up the application switcher (double press home button), tap and hold and close out all your apps that are in paused state. Now, go into settings, tap on General > Reset (all the way at the bottom) > Reset all settings. THIS WILL NOT REMOVE DATA, just "reprograms" the phone in a sense. Phone will turn off, reset config, turn back on, go through setup, now right away tap settings > mail, contacts, calendar > Add account > Gmail > try using your info again, if not, exchange server works EVERY time ive had a customer who's normal gmail settings dont work, and contacting google all they can tell me is some accounts for some reason not only dont log into iOS mail, even with manual email settings but they also dont work on any other device, be it a tablet, android, windows or outlook or anything. But exchange always works. So if Imap doest work (normail gmail option) then set it up as an exchange.
