Nice to see it up! Well, my shell version is actually 1233. This is the latest shell version. No, it's not SP2, because SP2 is not out yet. It's just one of the Windows updates.

well i wasn't aware that there were subversions of shell32... i just know i'm on service pack 1.

I see you have many files. You should make a Replacer script so people can install all the patched files, automatically, easily.

i don't really feel the need to write a replacer script since i replace them all by hand... everyone else can do the same. i'm a firm believer in knowing exactly what you're doing so you understand how you got the product, not just clickity-click and poof there it is.

Uffff, I'm experiencing a few difficulties, well just one to be exact. The Explorer bar's icons do not change. Why is that, and is there a way of fixing it?

you got to reshack explorer.exe or use y'z dock or some other program

That's the thing. the shell file has the hacked explorer.exe. I replaced the original dll with the hacked one and nothing...

furthermore, I opened explorer.dll with reshacker and saw that all the icons are orbital.

I don't get it. :cry:
