If I'm ever in Chicago, I will be going there for sure. The pies on the site look oh so tasty. :)

Edit: Holy crap! THEY WILL SHIP A PIZZA NATION WIDE! Before the week's end, I will be ordering one of these babys!

Oh man, I never even noticed that! I'm going to have to jump on that boat as well. Good catch!

Take a flight to Chicago and stand in line for 2 hours to get into Giordano's. No matter how much time or money it takes to get in there, it's so worth it:

I make it my business to get down there once or twice a year. Gino's also makes a good deep dish.

:drools more: aaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww I'm soo tempted to get one shipped to me, those look delicious

Wow ... what a bargain:

The Chicago Classic!

Comes with mushrooms, green

peppers, onions and pepperoni!!!

Price: $25.80

Where's the pepperoni option.. surely that should have made the list!

I like thick crusts, with pepperoni, [...]

Pepperoni, bacon, and jalape?os is good too.

[...]

null vote, you didnt include pepperoni

Included pepperoni now.

Vote away, guys.

Although pepperoni is obsolete in my book...

Salami and extra peppers, pepper flakes and possibly more hot craziness beats pepperoni hands down!

Damn thread is making me hungry

It's your birthday... you should have a big pizza paid by your loved ones and enjoy it all day long (order a super big size!)

Happy birthday, by the way! :) :fun:

As a Chicagoan, I would say (along with a lot of people I know) Giordano's is not one of the best places to get deep dish.

Places better than Giordanos:

Lou Malnati's, Uno, and Gino's East (my favorite because they use a corn meal crust)

I agree that Gino's is damn good. I wasn't a big fan of Lou's because the crust isn't as extravagant as some of the other places. And Uno is a pretty big chain, so naturally it doesn't put out the shear quality of an exclusive pizza place. We have a few of those up here and they always neighbor Applebees since it's basically the same idea.

The original locations in Chicago (Uno and Due) are nothing like chain Unos. As a matter of fact, I don't think the chains even serve the same pizza as the originals.

BLT pizza is my favorite.

That's not a pizza, that's a sandwich.

A Chicago-style deep dish pizza is to die for!

And that's not a pizza, that's a pie!

I didn't realise that a Hawaiian pizza was so unheard of...

I had a pizza last night with a work colleague. I just went for ham since we were in a bit of a rush. Normally though I like all kinds. I find the Hawaiian to be a safe bet at new places, but I tend to mix it up quite a bit and try new things. Recently I seem to have taken a liking to this pizzeria which does Gorgonzola and spicy salami. I ask him to throw on some hot peppers as well, it's ace. (Y)

I'll be completely honest--while pepperoni and cheese is pretty much the 'default' or 'go-to' pizza here in North America (well, at least everywhere I've been), I'm not a huge fan of pepperoni anymore. If I have the choice, I'll usually get something without it.

That said, my favourite is probably a mixture of cheddar, mozzarella, and parm, along with bacon (actual bacon strips, not that crumble stuff) and chicken. It's so good. Simple, but tasty.

    • They aren't going to want to. Most would just go with the 17 Pro and save money. Why would they want to spend $300 for basically the same thing? It's not worth it if there are hardly any changes from year to year.
    • 24H2 rolled out to the Release Preview Channel in early June 2024, so this coming a bit later in the Experimental Channel (formerly Dev) doesn't really say much more than earlier H2 releases that came out in October. I am not sure what the thinking is here by putting it in Experimental, one would think that the 26H2 stamp means features are locked down and it's now bug tested until October? I don't even pretend to understand Microsoft's strategy for Windows Insider Program though
