+Warwagon MVC Posted February 27, 2012 MVC Share Posted February 27, 2012 How-to delete and pause your Google account web history. I'm sitting here watching TWIT on my couch and they were talking about Google and web history. They said you can go in and clear it all out and even pause it so they don't record any of your Google searches. So I logged in and checked my history. They had stuff I searched for as far back as 2006 on one account and 2007 on another account, so I cleared the list and told it to pause. So go head, take a look at your web history. 1) Sign into your Google account 2) In the top right of your newly signed into account drop your account name down and choose "Account settings" 3) Scroll down to the bottom of the page under services and click on the "View Web history button" from here you can either clear your entire history and / or pause or resume the web history service. Thought some people might find this useful enjoy!

+LogicalApex MVC Posted February 27, 2012 MVC Share Posted February 27, 2012 Luckily for me I'm never signed into anything Google when I search. They can use fuzzy logic to get a picture, but it won't be all that clear :D Osiris 1 Share
xendrome
I'm pretty sure the tracking of the "web-history" is OPT-IN anyway and always has been.... anyone know for sure?
