Pardon me, i don't feel like reading 9 pages now! :p I am curious, does this thread contain much information from Bill's presentation? I can imagine there is lots of 'info' about the 4051 leak here, but i am more keen to read / hear what's been said at the presentation itself!

Thanks, ...'a keen Longhorn follower, using OS X' :p :D

It seems that you don't want to read a lot, but here is the transcript of Bill Gates' keynote address:

Wow, thats pretty big! hmm... i wonder if i can get it synched onto iPod, that would be nice during work, when i am bored :p

Cheers. Oh, and is there any Official pics or 'stuff' released, beyond text, regarding this build?

Thanks for your time tho, appreciated

Question for anyone who is running this build. I've used the older one and I do have this one does it support the nForce network card yet at all? The older builds were never ble to even see it even if I installed the drivers.

nope it still has problems with the nForce NIC, after installation of nForce drivers, it does show up but it states device has problems blah blah blah.....

we'll just have to wait till it hits beta stage.

Hey guys, Jim Allchin's transcript is now up @ http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/exec/Ji.../10-27pdc03.asp. Please beware. This was a 4 hour keynote address. ;-) It is a very long read.

and boo@ iPod. I already synch'd to my Pocket PC so I could read in style (ClearType) and/or listen to music if I wish. I'm so not into single-purpose handheld devices anymore.

    • We do it all the time on our IT Service desk mailbox to add a reference, in the subject line, once it's been logged and then it's filed into the appropriate sub-folder. Other companies probably do the same thing.
    • "No. The "New Outlook for Windows" does not support non-cloud mailboxes (such as on-premises Exchange servers). Furthermore, because the New Outlook effectively functions as a web-based client, it requires all connected accounts—even standard IMAP or POP accounts—to route and cache data through Microsoft's cloud servers. You can verify the accepted account setups using the Microsoft Supported Account Types Guide." Built to fail "New" Outlook is basically just webmail in a window wrapper and it's usefulness reflects that.
