What do you dream about?

A fairly simple question, what is it you dream about?

My dreams mostly consist of falling from great heights and waking just before hitting the surface.

I always dream about death or sex, it seems I rarely can dream something that's not either.

Last night... Super Zombies that could teleport and had the strength of superman.... I woke up like 8 times and every time I feel back asleep, I returned right where I left off. Was a constant fight to run, hide, be quite, then run and fight and run.... Woke up exhausted lol.

I don't remember my dreams often,

but when I do, they're usually about sex.

I do have one dream I've had like 7-8 times though, I'm some kind of archaeologist working on putting together t-rex bones, and my team and I go out to lunch and come back to the bones growing muscle and skin and what not on them. It then proceeds to chase after us and it's always just a matter of running for your life. No clue what started it, and I usually don't wake up from it I simply remember when I had that dream, but it's pretty annoying having the same dream over and over.

As far as my dreams in general though, they are all pretty basic in terms of what happens, 90% of them (pretty much all but the one mentioned above) are things that are physically possible and could happen while awake, I don't have very exciting dreams generally speaking.

The last dream I had was my family trying to tell me I was an alcoholic and I needed help. As much as I tried to convince them I wasn't, I couldn't... I even woke up angry. Strange thing is I am barely a drinker at all lol.

Usually, most of my dreams are amplified versions of any single thought that I may have had while awake. I usually write them down the next day.

Here are a few, if interested. MASSIVE WALL OF TEXT INCOMING.

Dream #1.There are walkers everywhere (zombies). My group is scattered and uncoordinated. I killed a few and lead a lot of them away from the group by banging a pole against another railing to make noise. Then we ran for it and made it to the Nintendo Headquarters, where nintendo was holding a Mario Kart tournament to distract the survivors from the impending zombie doom. I found some people I knew in real life and they weren?t really happy to see that I survived. Lol. That?s all I can remember. That?s the last time I watch the Walking Dead at 2am.

Dream #2. I watched the season finale of The Walking Dead last night, which of course meant that I?d dream about it. Gah? So scary. The show is exciting, but when you?re actually in the Walking Dead universe (in a dream), it?s life threatening. My town was overrun by walkers. I found the closest vehicle I could and got in it. It was a light blue l60s / 70s Ford truck. Walkers (zombies) were surrounding me and I was panicking. Then I realized the truck was stick shift and I don?t know how to drive stick shift. I started saying to myself ?Dang it, why didn?t Winston (my boss in real life) teach me how to drive stick?!? (he has a stick shift honda)?? So I just started messing around with the clutch until it started moving. Stalled a few times but eventually got fast enough to break away from the zombies.

Memory loss? I?m all of a sudden swimming in the ocean. Was slightly relieved since no zombies can swim. Kept on swimming until I reached an island? I encountered a bunch of natives, but I kept hidden so they wouldn?t see me. Then I heard something crazy ? the roar of a T-Rex. The natives had captured a GIANT t-rex and it was going crazy. The natives discovered my location and wanted to kill me. Also there were velociraptors everywhere. Swam to a different island and it wasn?t much different from where I initially started. Walkers everywhere?

That?s all I can remember. I think I need to stare at pictures of really cute things before I go to sleep.

Dream #3

I was in a small white office just looking around at all of the clutter. I don?t know why I was there. Suddenly, a professional looking man wearing a suit, mid 30s, greets me.

?Hello, Jacob?, he said.

?Hi. Who are you??

?Why, I?m Satan, of course. I am the determiner of fate.?

At this point, the dream transitioned into 3rd person, as if I were watching a movie. I saw myself in the room and I was able to think as if I were awake. ?What is going on??, I began to wonder frantically. ?Why would I be speaking with Satan? I need to get out of here?. But I couldn?t control it; I was just watching.

?How can you be Satan??

?Why wouldn?t I be? I was a high-up in Heaven, after all. It?s only natural that I look like this. People have me misunderstood to look like a demonic creature.?

?Why are you speaking with me??

?I know you have your doubts about God. I?m here to make you a believer. There is no sense in doubting God?s existence; feel confident in knowing he is alive ?as am I. However, I am here to tell you my side of the story.?

He explained how he is misunderstood, how he wasn?t really evil, and some other things that I can?t remember. Obviously, I didn?t buy into it?but eventually, it came to this -

?Regardless of what you trust, I am the bringer of fate. God lets me control who lives and who dies. An earthquake of significant power will strike the campus of [High school I went to and worked at]. There is no helping it. Bill, Tulip, and Andy will all perish. Their daughter, Tina, will survive on behalf of your efforts. Ivan will die, Jose will narrowly escape falling rubble. If you intend to intervene, leave now. But even if you choose not to willfully go, it is your fate to end up at the campus one way or another.?

With that, the dream switched back to first person view and from that point on, I controlled everything. I remember running as fast as I could to the school. When I got there, I burst through the music wing entrance trying to find Tina. I saw some other students and warned them to get out of the building right away. I encountered a group of ?09 students. My heart was racing, and then I saw Jeremy Pastor. ?JEREMY, FOLLOW ME. RIGHT NOW.? I yelled, in a panicked voice. He could tell something serious was about to go down and didn?t hesitate. We both started running while I explained the situation.

As soon as he started following me, the earthquake hit. The school was collapsing. I saw bricks and mortar crush kids and families. Bill, Tulip, and Andy, were killed. ?WE NEED TO FIND TINA, NOW!?. We searched every last part of the school and couldn?t find her. We ran out of the main entrance and saw that the campus was completely destroyed. There were newly erected cliffs leading into never-ending pits of black. Someone said they saw a girl hanging on to the edge of the cliff, so I rushed over. A firetruck with a rescue ladder was set up near by so I took it and climbed up the cliff. But she was gone. I climbed back out of the cliff / mountainside and ended up at the rec field near the swing set and pavilion. She was safe, sitting on a bench, crying. She didn?t know her family was killed. Apparently, a fireman had saved her right before I arrived and I just didn?t see it happen. I walked by without saying anything. I didn?t know what to say. She didn?t see me anyway.

I made my way to the main entrance and saw Jose rush out with tears in his eyes. ?Jacob?..Ivan?..Ivan got hit??. We went to where he was. Ivan was still alive, then Jose started laughing. ?Haha just kidding with you Jacob. He got hit but he?s gonna be fine.?? Then Ivan was like ?I think I might be paralyzed haha?.

?I walked back out and I remember thinking ?Satan was mostly right, but Ivan survived and I didn?t end up saving Tina - it was a fireman?.

but then something spoke to me out of thin air and said ?It?s just like the butterfly effect. The simple act of you being here enabled her to be alive. Just because you didn?t save her first hand, doesn?t mean you didn?t save her. When you warned the others and ran through the school in the exact way that you did, it allowed them to live, and in turn, help rescue Tina. Your existence changed the fate of Earth, ever so slightly.?

And with that, I woke up. Heart racing as if I just ran a mile.

I also dream a lot of other weird ****, gruesome nightmares etc.. I suppose I can use this thread as sort of a dream journal to share my crazy with everyone. I hate the dreams that seem so vivid as if I am not dreaming but have no control over the events that occur in my dreams.

It really depends when I wake up, I had it once so that I always woke up in the middle of dreaming and always they were pleasant dreams.

Issue is, I forgot them anyway.

Sometimes a dream has elements that feel similar to a previous dream I had, same dream maybe. Those feel weird.

Also, I only dream of sex due to a lack of sexual release. I am not sure about you all, but if you admit of dreaming about sex - are you are not 'releasing' yourself often?

Dreams where I "wake up" in my bed - I REALLY hate these as they make me confused as hell, especially if I get multiple ones in a night.

Usually don't remember all my dreams, you do know you dream a lot they say, but remember just a few at a time.

The ones I generally remember are always dreams of me at work fixing computers and solving problems for our staff. (I am temp employed in IT at the moment).

OR, it may be dreams about my web hosting I provide or my customers. That usually happens if I am working on that all day (Server updates, moves etc..).

Rarely, do I ever have a dream about something different it seems (At least from what I remember).

This is the one that always gets me. I am unable to use any kind of transportation in my dreams. If I get in a car, it has no tires or key or battery or it turns out to be a box and not a car. I had one really strange dream recently. I was at a party with lots of friends. I had to excuse myself because my teeth kept falling out - all of them one after another just started crumbling to bits inside my mouth and i had to keep spitting them out. I was not really happy with that one...
