I'm glad I got my Lumia 900 already. Sounds like they might be harder to come by this weekend.

Yeah. And after the bug, the affected phones have been taken out of stores to correct them. They will be sent back in a few days.

And this will create even more shortage.

I thought it was a software thing, meaning that once they were updated in store, it would then be resolved...? I didn't think they were actually sending stock back to Nokia...

This guy seems to be always in the news with a new phone or tablet. Albeit Android, Blackberry, Apple, Windows Phone... etc...

His a nerd with money and I expect him to be getting a new device regularly. Though it doesn't need to be reported by news outlets though.

Actually, the blackberry one is 3 years old, so maybe that doesn't count.

Was meant to add that this has already been reported in several news outlets already - that was my point.

...yay?

windows 7 fanboys love it and think it's sweet that the one of the founders of apple (who is a giant tech nerd, not an apple nerd) is buying something not apple (especially when he has nothing to do with the company any more)

Apparently Nokia and AT&T are pulling the Lumia 900

of stock shelves and returning it to Nokia to be flashed

with the new, LTE-bug free firmware.

This process will apparently take 3-5 days, meaning the

phones will only get in stock early next week.

The phone is still available online, where of course either

shipment can be delayed until fixed handsets are available,

or they can make sure only handsets free of the problem

are being sent out.

In the same way that all the Apple fanboys swoon when they hear that he's got his hands on the latest iPhone ;)

I have a Lumia 800.. why can't I be in the news?

You're doing it in the wrong order, you should've helped start a big tech company first and then bought a competitors product.

X-byte getting a Nokia Lumia 900

post-345940-0-94665600-1334437864.png

It is rumoured, that x-byte has also acquired a Lumia. It is not yet known if he will use it as his primary device or secondary. Being a Wii admirer, it is yet to be seen whether he will like the Xbox integration.

We have sent a request for further information to x-byte's representatives, and will update this article with any details that we receive.

    • I'm still rocking iOS 25.x on my primary phone cuz iOS 26 still has usability quirks (mostly aesthetic and thus its UX) which I don't wanna deal with -- and I've been piloting them with all of these updates on my backup phone, so I'm well aware of its "improvements" since iOS 26 was first released (compared to version 26.5.x).
