This is not tagged because I can't type into the tag box ! And this was not even about that bug ! (Checked the checkbox for first tag prefix instead)

So there is the first bug, 2nd one that has only seem to start today is this when I try to quote a post

Capture.PNG

Also I have no bar above reply window (The one with the buttons for inserting images etc)

Next bug! I can't change themes, the button does nothing

When I press the notifications button it opens a new page instead of a dropdown like it used to

Its as if the forum has suddenly corrupted completely !

I've tried this on Firefox current, FF Nightly, Chrome Current so I don't think its a browser thing

I've rebooted the router and cleared browser cache/cookies

Whats going on ? !

IE9 Test This is me trying to quote a post using IE9 after it has been completley reset to defaultsEDIT - I wrote the above on 2 lines, but the board joined everything together and put HTML new line code after everything

Thanks, not sure which theme I had it on, but nothing changed, but now the theme button link changes to the link to whatever page I am on

Something screwy is going on here

Ok the two biggest categories in there are cats and computers. Thus we have to reach the conclusion that the system is directing you to buy a cybernetic cat!

ROFL! I can hear it now! "Me Ow! Me Ow! I'll Be Back!" :D

the 18-55mm should do just fine for what you need

Ok, thank you. I appreciate it. It may not be professional level results, but if they are great pictures, they will be well worth it! :)

try this link to the green theme as you'll definitely be able to notice if it changes or not

it really is weird that you're the only one having these odd problems, my best guess with the people that have posted here, maybe it's linked to you being a tier 1 subscriber?

Ahh! Fixed it

I had been having problems with ajax.googleapis.com hanging when I was loading threads so created a HOSTS file rule of 127.0.0.1 ajax.googleapis.com to block it lastnight !

Removed the rule and the forum works again

So ads are literally holding this place together

It's nothing to do with ads :s Disabling ajax.googleapis.com prevents the javascript libraries used on the site from being loaded (Scriptaculous on the forums, jQuery on the front page), hence disabling anything that requires javascript.

Ah right, I just associate any URLs that have the word Google in them that appear in forums as ads

googleapis also loads a few javascripts (not ad related) which is then not loaded if you block it ;)

In AdminCP we can host the javascript ourselves or let Google load it for us, although I couldn't tell you exactly what it does, but it isn't ad related :p

Edit: Didn't see Daves post :p

    • It could EASILY be 70 for the base game BUT + lots of FOMO to make it up to 100-120, like a few days Early Access, online money, pre-order bonus cars, weapons, missions, clothing, avatars or profile stuff, etc... And still WAY TOO MANY people would buy those and make Rockstar insane money.

    • WTF! Nah, not this one. If you were back then using computers in the 90s or you had a clue, you'd know this was huge and was seen and overused absolutely everywhere and you'd take this article as no more than a retrospective story. That's all it is.
    • these "editors" get paid by the amount of articles and not the quality of content; hence why we get this random stuff from the same "editor" time and time again.
