You really have the wrong idea of depression, probably never been to the bottom have you? In those situations people mostly don't choose and go for the easiest way out, either alcohol and/or drugs, calling people like that juvenile is just wrong.

I know of depression, and they are perfectly aware that there are better options, they just don't want to generally. There are many people with heavy depressions able to go the route of finding a proper solution to it though therapy or other means. Alcohol ir of course more common used in certain countries that already have a higher than average alcohol consumption and alcoholism and where drinking regularly is considered traditional and the norm, or in countries with crap health care where getting therapy would cost you more than you'd have.

And in any case as my point was, this spray wouldn't be useful for them anyway.

You do know one of the means of therapy is pills right? They are no better then alcohol and will get you the same result, addiction. Been there done that. And yes I agree that they are aware that there are better means but like I said, most people just go with the easiest way out, alcohol, you can't call a person juvenile just because he doesn't have strong enough of a personality in some situations like depression, people are different after all.

I glad someone spoke the truth here. now, I do drink to get drunk about twice a year. because I like playing soul caliber and sf4 while drunk with some bros. A little juvinile absolutely. But we all have our vices. The trouble is when we let our vices own us.
