ajnauron
This has been happening for a while, one day it just started doing this and I don't know why. I haven't installed any programs recently, so I thought a recent Windows Update might have caused this. I know this might be a difficult problem to diagnose. Any time I resume from either Hibernate or Sleep, Windows will freeze for 10-15 minutes before it becomes usable. Ctrl-Alt-Delete will still work, and the menus there are still responsive, but anything else won't respond for a while. The only way to get it to unfreeze is to either wait the required time or reboot. I only have 3 items on my startup list. My startup time is 1 minute(as expected) and my computer does not freeze on startup from a cold boot. daniel_rh
What about the Windows's Events Viewer? Have you looked there for any warning or error, maybe the OS the struggling with a service or a driver. By the way, your HD is slow, if you want to see a nice improvement on loading times, a 7200rpm HD would be fine
