micro
I have a core i5 2500k with an amd 6850 graphics card. I am running Windows 7 professional on a Kingston v+100 ssd. Latest firmware. Suddenly for the first time in ~2 years I am experiencing artifacting on my dual monitors. I do not play any games so this is happening just in windows regular 2d. The issue does not appear to have to do with overheating as the cpu and gpu are running within limits. GPU core 56.0 C CPU core 38.0 C Here is a screenshot of it happening.. IT seems to happen randomly. Sometimes im not even logged in or using the computer when it happens. I've found that if i unplug one of the DVI cords and plug it back in, it seems to solve the problem. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here? +LogicalApex MVC Posted May 19, 2012 MVC Share Posted May 19, 2012 Have you recently changed the drivers? If not, I would examine the physical card to see if there are any blown capacitors as a first step.
