I'm not a big footy fan (Rugby League is my fave), and I follow Liverpool. I was in 2 minds about this final.

1. Do I want Chelsea to win because they are an English team.

2. Do I want Chelsea to lose because it's Chelsea.

It is probably the 1st game I have watched(by choice) in full for a couple of years now. Excellent game, but Bayern should have won it in normal time.

And how annoying is Adrian Childs, calling Petr Cech - Peter.

Great game for a Neutral. I'm english so obviously i wanted Chelsea to win but still a neutral.

The way the game went on, it went more and more in favour of Chelsea but when it got to penalties it is a clean slate.

Bayen should have won it in normal time with the chances they had but because they didn't capitalize on it. They didn't deserve to win in the end.

Well Chelsea have finally spent their way to a European trophy. Even as an Englishman I wanted Bayern to win which amuses even me. I don't take a great deal of interest in the premier league any more, but seeing Man United and Chelsea lose always puts a smile on my face. Still, Bayern only have themselves to blame for not making their domination pay off.

Well Chelsea have finally spent their way to a European trophy.

It's funny how people always say "Chelsea spent so much money", then when you look at the budgets of Manchester United or Arsenal or how much they're spending you suddenly realize "Fsck me, they're dishing out just as much money as they are."

Sounds like you're a sore loser - let me guess, you're a Neverpool fan? *tsk*.

Arsenal operate on a profit and spend very little money, United... Well they still spend less than Chelsea and Manchester city, and I can respect them because their success was actually earned. Chelsea just went from a team of nothings to a team with an unlimited warchest out of nowhere. With their budget it would almost be an insult not to win anything. Yeah, you can bet I have a problem with it. I don't particularly *like* Man United but I respect them because I feel they earned their success. I have no respect for Chelsea because they didn't earn theirs.

You actually are wrong, on the last day of the season when United ran out against their opposition and City did the same, the combined total for the United's team was in the region of 163 Million Pounds and City's was about 161 Million Pounds, I don't think Chelsea's total was even close to those two teams! That said, why have United "earned" their "success" and not Chelsea?? What nonsense!

For as much praise as Robben gets, he sure sucked it up. Almost to the extent that he was the sole reason Bayern lost.

I lost all respect for the guy after all the dives he pulled in the World Cup. I was rooting for Bayern, just not him.

Congratulations to Chelsea FC. And thank you for beating Bayern M?nchen.

You dont like bayern?

I was quite disappointed when they lost. obviously a better team and they put so much effort into this but alas luck wasnt on their side. Should have taken more risk.

United brought players through their youth academy, they marketed their team well overseas, and a lot of hard football was played. Chelsea did none of that, they were nothing, a small club. A Russian billionaire comes along, gives them unlimited funding and all of a sudden they start winning.

And besides, you have to look at the spending of teams as an overall, not just what players are on the pitch or on the day. I'd wager that if you ignore player wages (which I do, all big teams pay high wages these days) that Chelsea have spent about the same in the past 8 years to achieve their success as united have in their entire history, I'd also wager that far less of Chelsea and City's expenditure on new players was funded by the sale of other players.

    • This Dell 27 inch 4K 120Hz IPS monitor is really cheap after a very long time by Sayan Sen Recently we covered a really good deal on an AMD RX 9070 three-fan model that's available at slightly above its MSRP. If you are looking for a GPU for 1440p gaming that's around the performance of the Nvidia RTX 5070 you should most definitely check it out. Let's say that you are looking for a monitor to pair that up with too. The Samsung 49" G9 curved QD-OLED superultrawide is a good option that can provide an immersive experience. However despite being a very good deal currently (at $855), it may seem unaffordable to you, or you may simply not want to spend as much on a monitor. In that case Dell's S2725QS can be a very good option as it's on sale at the moment for its lowest price in over six months (purchase link under the specs table down below). The big highlight of the Dell S2725QS is its 27-inch IPS panel with a 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD) resolution, offering a high pixel density that can make text appear sharper while also providing plenty of screen space for productivity and media consumption. The display supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz through both HDMI and DisplayPort, making it suitable not only for everyday desktop use but also for smoother gaming and scrolling. AMD FreeSync Premium support is included as well, helping reduce screen tearing during gaming sessions. The screen has fairly good brightness and color accuracy so you can use it for general work purpose, though photo/video editing is probably not going to be the best match for this. The technical specs of the Dell S2725QS are given in the table below: Specification Value Viewable Screen Size 27 in (68.58 cm) Screen Mode 4K UHD Maximum Resolution 3840 × 2160 Maximum Preset Resolution 3840 × 2160 @ 120 Hz Standard Refresh Rate 120 Hz Panel Technology In-plane Switching (IPS) Backlight Technology LED Edgelight System Pixel Density 163 PPI Response Time 8 ms GTG, 5 ms GTG, 4 ms GTG Horizontal Viewing Angle 178° Vertical Viewing Angle 178° Brightness 350 cd/m² (nits) Native Contrast Ratio 1500:1 Color Support 1.07 Billion Colors Color Gamut 99% sRGB (CIE 1931) Adaptive Sync AMD FreeSync Premium HDCP Support Yes Mount Type Panel Mount VESA Mount 100 × 100 mm Maximum Height Adjustment 13 cm Tilt -5° to 21° Swivel -30° to 30° Pivot ±90° Stand Adjustments Tilt, Swivel, Height, Pivot Glass Hardness 3H Horizontal Frequency 27–270 kHz (DisplayPort 1.4 / HDMI 2.1) Vertical Frequency 48–120 Hz (DisplayPort 1.4 / HDMI 2.1) Video Inputs 2 × HDMI 2.1 (HDCP 1.4 & 2.3), 1 × DisplayPort 1.4 (HDCP 1.4 & 2.3) Operating Temperature 0°C to 40°C Storage Temperature -20°C to 60°C Operating Humidity 10%–80% (Non-condensing) Storage Humidity 5%–95% (Non-condensing) Get it at the link below: Dell S2725QS 27-inch 4K 120Hz IPS monitor: $218.49 (Sold and Shipped by Amazon US) (Was: $280) Good to know This Amazon deal is U.S. specific, and not available in other regions unless specified.
