peacemf
Today my phone didn't start up, was like the battery was completely dead, but after resetting it showed power of 80%. Though. Nothing of it initially but then noticed that the photos have been replaced with empty jpg and png files? Any idea what's happened?!
Glassed Silver
Can you give a little more details? Did you upgrade the firmware? Did you see the empty files on your computer or on your iPhone? If iPhone: Where? Photos App or 3rd party App? Are you jailbroken? In case you are, try going to the photos folder to check whether you can get hold of the photos there. Possibly try restoring your backup with those photos again. Glassed Silver:ios

Glassed Silver
You could try jailbreaking and checking out the picture folder itself... Maybe you can save them with a picture REPAIR (not rescue as in undelete) tool... If videos are affected, there are tools to repair corrupt videos, too. One thing though: Always work on copies of the corrupt files when trying to repair them. (Y) Stock firmware options: wipe the pics and videos - I'm afraid, unless there are other options I don't know of. Could try repairing the files you download the official (stock) way from the unjailbroken phone, too. See if anything helps and let me know.
