Is it normal for Sata blu ray drives to show up as Scsi when using this board?.

the pioneer BDR 207 DBK Blu ray is installed in Sata 2 port 3..

i didn't have this trouble on my intel DP67BG board, and am starting to regret this upgrade as none of my burning programs seem to want to burn bd50 disks since doing the upgrade and a reinstall of win 7.

how ever, if i go back to the DP67BG intel board, i have none of these issues. as the Pioneer drive is correctly displayed as an atapi device and not Scsi.

Any advice would be appreciated, as i am about a day away from throwing this 3 day old board into the trash.
