iTunes for XP?

Question

I don't know what to do with myself, I'm just refreshing this thread, macrumours, and the itunes download page now, I can't take this anymore?:trout::?:uberhump:p:

When they say it only works on 2k & xp, i wonder if that means it uses anti-aliasing/shadows and such?

That or M$ paid Apple to make sure it wouldn't work on 9x systems, forcing them to upgrade! lol ...:laugh:h: (after all, tis the 'best app written')

wonder if it uses transparency or anything like that:unsure:e:

I hope it is as good as the Mac version, after all Apple really needs it to indicate the quality of its iApps, and maybe tempt people with "well if that app is so awesome, what about...?"

If it turns out like Quicktime, it'll be more Windows users complaining ... Moment of truth not far away, eh?:D:D

this is indeed good news, but will it work for us Brits?

I have a Mac and can't use the store, will it also be unusable on my PC?

No. The iTMS is US (and Canada? Not sure...) only. Send some e-mails to Apple and try to encourage them (it might...sorta...maybe get them to do it, lol).

I think someone said, by the new year they hoped to do it. So Early 2004 i'd imagine ...

From Neowin's front page:

"Pepsi will "craft a multimillion-dollar ad campaign around the music store." The report suggests that consumers will be able to find codes in Pepsi's packaging that they will be able to redeem online for free downloads through the iTunes Music Store."

That's cool.
