The CGI still looks terrible. is ILM still behind this?

To me it just looks like they were going for a certain style for that particular image. It looks alright in the trailer if you ask me.

Yeah but to me the trailer is still not realistic enough. I mean it just doesn't look believable to me. What I loved about the last 3 TFs was the realism. Let me give you an example. In ROTF, when we first see Ironhide in truck mode, it had like this shinyness to the hood when it transformed. Although it was part of the truck, it was still believable. It looked like it belonged, but looking at the redesign, the lighting looks really off compared to the rest of the world. By lighting, I mean all the reflections, light and how light balances doesn't look believable to me.

"I think we just found a transformer". Wow, what a corny line and delivery.

"Where is Optimus Prime?" Uh gee I don't know. You're parked in front of nothing but open land, a small farm house, and a giant barn. I wonder where a 30ft tall, gigantic hulking robot who transforms into a semi truck could be hiding.

God this movie looks freaking terrible.

While I think you're right you must also remember that it's just a trailer and not the final product yet. It might look loads better in the final cut :)
