Really?

I'm getting on ok with KH without the circle pad but i haven't played the game with one, so i don't know how it is. Is the second circle pad used for moving the camera?

Some crazy guy has got the circle pad working on the 3DS XL.

Not skilled craftsmanship. Just smash the thing to bits and wedge it on there.

Most likely. A second analog stick rarely does anything but that in most games.

You'd have a point about it being a waste of money if you were forced to use the 3d at all times, whether you liked it or not. But you're not, so your complaint kinda doesn't have much point.

Don't tell me what I think a waste of money is, I bought the 3DS to um, use the 3D function...........therefore it was a waste of money if I can't use 3D.

Also why are games on the Nintendo eShop so ridiculously overpriced, why would I buy NES/Gameboy games for ?4-5???

TheLegendofMart, where did you buy your 3DS? Usually stores have consoles set up for you to play. Perhaps you should have tested it first to make sure your eyes could tolerate the 3D effect?

Personally, I don't use the 3D much anyway. It's a bit fun for some games and some sequences, but largely I turn it off. I am hoping DS games look better on the XL because I never owned a DS and I'd like to play some of the good games that were on that system.

There are no game stores in my town as its a small town, in the next big town the local GAME store closed down when they nearly went bankrupt, there are no stores that have demo units short of travelling 20-30 miles, so I took a punt and ordered one online.

I'd rather get a PS Vita. It seems that Nintendo are giving up. They announce Pokemon, then they say it's not for the 3DS. Slowly killing off their best game series...

I have to say sony is the one that's giving up. They pretty much wipe all their old PSP fan off due to no backward compatibility. All you games you got on your old PSP can't be transfer and you would have to purchase them once again. Nintnedo did a fine job of keeping backward compatibility with all their consoles and handheld.

That sucks. I still think you can get a lot of enjoyment out of your 3DS. I wouldn't let buyers remorse set in just yet. :)

BC would have been great for the Vita. One reason I bought a 3DS was because I never owned a DS and I liked the idea of having the whole DS library available straight away.

    • O&O ShutUp10 3.1.1104 by Razvan Serea O&O ShutUp10 offers a simple yet effective way to take control of your Windows privacy. It provides access to almost 50 privacy-related tweaks, most of them hidden or not easily accessible to the average computer users. Using a very simple interface, you decide how Windows 10/11 should respect your privacy by deciding which unwanted functions should be deactivated. Using ShutUp10 you can easily disable Windows Defender, turn off telemetry, disable peer-to-peer updates, turn off Wi-Fi Sense, disable automatic Windows updates, turn off and reset Cortana and more. ShutUp10 allows you to create a System Restore point before you apply any changes, so that you can revert your system at any time if you run into problems. O&O ShutUp10 is entirely free and does not have to be installed – it can be simply run directly and immediately on your PC. And it will not install or download retrospectively unwanted or unnecessary software, like so many other programs do these days! O&O ShutUp10 Free and Premium The latest version brings O&O ShutUp10 Premium, expanding the app’s long-standing privacy controls with automatic enforcement of user-defined settings. Instead of manually rechecking options after every Windows update, users can set their preferred privacy configuration once—or apply recommended settings in a single click—and the tool continuously monitors them in the background. If Windows 10 or 11 re-enables disabled features or introduces new data collection paths, Premium restores the chosen settings automatically without user intervention. The free version remains available and fully functional for manual adjustments, offering the same core privacy controls for Windows. However, the Premium tier is aimed at users who want long-term, hands-off protection, adding automatic reapplication after updates, ongoing monitoring, and optional notifications to ensure privacy settings remain consistent over time. • Fascinating...W h i t e P o w e r is now also asterisks out.
    • In the past few days I have noticed two odd moderation activities. First, when I posted the term 'White Nationist Christian' it was asterisk's out. When I changed it to **** it was allowed! Second, in the Politics is a ###business thread I was allowed to post that the GOP is a party of p e d ophiles but I was censored  when I posted the GOP are a party of p e d ophile protectors. Wtf Neowin. Please explain.
