I just leave it alone. How much harm could it really do? If they wanted you to do it, i'd be in the manual, am I right? I'm currently using 1.5 gigs of my 4gb of ram and 2gb of my 8gb swap. It's not worth potently screwing up something behind the scenes. My gripe with swap is if you have, for example, 16 gigs of ram and windows gives you 32 GB swap. That's a waste! In that case, shrink it down but don't get rid of it all together. Have they fixed that in Windows 8?

Edit: Oh, BTW: I have a 128GB OCZ Vertex 3

Mine defaulted to 5GB and I have 12GB of RAM.

First it was a Vertex 3 but as we all know, the Hardware was faulty and hiding it by firmware updates didn't really work for me, so I got a Vertex 4. It lasted 2 days before failing and am now looking to a replacement arriving Monday. I have never had a traditional HD fail. but even with my bad experiences with SSD so far, get one.
