Dell's new Pro Max laptops are here to tackle demanding AI workflows by Paul Hill Dell Pro Max Dell has launched its new Pro Max high-performance laptop portfolio with the latest Nvidia RTX PRO Blackwell Generation GPUs, targeting them at power users, engineers, creators, and AI developers. The announcement positions the company strongly in the growing AI PC market, giving customers more options that can handle demanding AI workflows. The company said that with this line-up it was setting reliability, configurability, and performance as the foundation. It wants to ensure that professionals can use these computers to tackle whatever workloads they have while aiming to “set the standard for performance and creativity.” Dell Pro Max Premium The first model that Dell spoke about was the Dell Pro Max 14/16 Premium. This model focuses on portability and design with the “world’s smallest footprint” for a 14- and 16-inch mobile workstation. It’s also got the “world’s first 4K Tandem OLED display” on a 16-inch mobile workstation. It’s powered by the Nvidia RTX PRO 3000 Blackwell Laptop GPUs and Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processors. The 14-inch model provides a 19% graphics performance boost over previous generations, while the 16-inch model delivers a 23% boost. Dell Pro Max Plus Next, Dell discussed the Dell Pro Max 16/18 Plus. These laptops are designed for maximum mobile power packing the Nvidia RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell GPU, up to 55W Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX processors, and up to 16TB of storage. The 16-inch model sees a 53% graphics improvement over the last generation, while the 18-inch model is boosted by 44%. Dell lets you choose between a discrete Qualcomm AI-100 NPU or Intel built-in AI capabilities. To sustain good performance, Dell has packed in advanced thermal technology. This laptop also features CAMM2 memory and later this year you’ll be able to pick up a huge 256GB capacity module. Finally, we have the Dell Pro Max 14/16 which are the entry-level laptops. They offer everyday reliability and portability with weights starting at 3.95 pounds. They are available with AMD Ryzen AI processors and the first Copilot+ PCs in the Pro Max lineup with 50+ TOPS NPUs for AI processing. They also come with the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processors with Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU (up to 572 AI TOPS). Compared to the last generation, the 14-inch model is 36% more powerful, while the 16-inch model is 33% more powerful. Dell is touting these new laptops as the world’s most secure commercial AI PCs, and while their rival will definitely contest this claim, they do offer more AI security over traditional PCs because you can perform on-device AI workloads whereas traditional PCs rely more on cloud services which use your data for training in most cases. The PC maker also wants to make buyers feel better environmentally because it has focused on “circular innovation and serviceability”. To build the laptop, Dell has used recycled materials such as magnesium, post-consumer recycled plastic, bio-based plastic, ocean-bound plastic, and recycled aluminum. On the repairability front, the laptops feature an industry-first module USB-C port for better durability and easier repairs. The Plus models also come with an easy-access service door for more straightforward upgrades. All of these laptops are now available to buy from Dell. -

Question
Radon
here is my problem:
i want to connect my domain to my unix box (P2 450) at home.
what is the best procedure? i have a static IP and i'm not interested on some dynamic connections.
i expect around 20.000hits/day for this project (previous one averaged 20-24.000hits/day but the host cancelled my account).
any help will be greatly appreciated.
regards,
Radon.
