PS3 500GB + FIFA13 - ?239.99 @ Zavvi - 28th Sep

Those are the cheapest prices in the UK. The 250gb version doesn't appear to be sold in the UK, just the 12gb and 500gb.

Oh dear.

You can get a 320Gb Regular Slim for around the same price as 12Gb, I was going to get the smallest one and put my HDD in it but I might as well just stick with my Regular Slim till PS4.

yeah, the prices are horrible :( You'd think they would pass on some of the saving of a smaller ps3 with no hdd, unfortunately not. Lets hope they reduce the price just before the wii u is released otherwise ps3 sales will be incredibly low.

Just a way for Sony to try and boost sales, they lost quite a lot of money on the PS3 so I guess that's why the savings of producing a smaller one haven't been passed on. Unless you are really tight for space, I see absolutely no reason to upgrade to this unit.

These prices are actually cheaper that the current PS3 slim (500GB). Current PS3 clim 500GB with Fifa 13 costs ?250, I don't think it was a smart move to cut out a console between 12GB and 500GB. Who actually needs 500GB for a PS3? I guess the cost between 160GB and 500GB isn't that much meaning they can probably overcharge for the increase in space.

With PS Plus it is not hard at all to get near 500GB.
