spikey_richie
So today my wife Emma & I welcomed to the world our little bundle of joy, who arrived at 19:47 GMT weighing in at 8lb 1oz. Mum and baby (boy) are doing well, recovering from their ordeal in the hospital. There, I said it :D I just want to shout it from the rooftops! PNWDweller
Welcome to the world of Parenthood and my advice as a Dad to a 17 yr old who turns 18th on the 22nd of this month - THEY GROW UP FAST! Cherish every moment you have with him and don't be afraid to let him grow up and learn on his own, even if you know what they are doing is wrong and they are going to get hurt, (sometimes they have to learn the hard way!) And by all means, don't be afraid to discipline him as needed to keep him on track. :) Most importantly, love him with everything as I am sure you do, and enjoy every moment even if it is being woken up at 1:18 in the morning to change his diaper, or feed him, or because he just needs to be held. :) These are memories you will always cherish later on even though right now, they might just make you insane. Congratulations!
