^ I hear ya. I've wanted poweramp forever.

right now I'm using the old realplayer beta (that doesn't have ads and kills playlists) and an extra EQ app to get around that.... I don't have a credit card at the moment but I have lots of money in paypal to burn on apps, however they don't accept it!!! >_<

I use it becuase it's one of the only free media players that plays both music and videos and looks good... lots of other free ones look like ass LOL... or they have ads....

also my phone only has 350MB avalible for user app storage so I need to compress things... it's bad enough to make me need another phone....

if anyone wants the .apk of the old realplayer version before it had ads and killed playlists let me know I was able to back it up!

It's unlikeliy. So far there haven't been any top sellers in the sale, just second tier niche apps. I still regret not getting swiftkey, poweramp, and a bunch of others when during the $1 sale they had the beginning of the year.

You're in luck - Swiftkey is $0.99 on the market now, as a promotion. I'd wait till today's $0.25 sales before purchasing it though.

Just bought it. They already mentioned the 99c pricing is due to the sales event, so I doubt they would go even lower than that. Just hope poweramp does the same.

There's quite a few apps that aren't second tier niche.

For me it has been the same apps for that last 3 days. Maybe they arent updating properly on Xoom and S3? Bought clouds and sheep on day one, should have ignored it, 25p or not it is just a facebook game conversion :(

It's simple really. They're basically saying 'why buy any of it when you can easily pirate it?'

why go for a job and earn money for living when you can steal it. its that difference.

I dont know where you are looking but here is todays list

Horn failed for me, I purchased it on my HTC OneX but then it said it was incompatible. But seeing as it was over 15minutes from purchase to download fully I cannot claim a refund. Yes it's only 28p with the vat, but that's not the point. I already went through this crap with the Moto Xoom, Maybe I should have learned from my previous mistake :(

I don't understand Nova so I'll need to check out some guidelines. I got the Dark Knight and Gravity Guy as extra's. The sale should have indeed been longer but shouldn't it always? :)

Nova is a launcher ie. everything you see and do on your home screen and app drawer is a launcher.

by default your phone will have a launcher but this is an additional launcher which will let you customize your home screen app drawer. for example I can customize how a folder should look. can customize the home screen and scroll effects.

try the free one first and then you will understand...

Nova when I tried it just seemed like more trouble than its worth, it's slow and overly complex, unstable and doesn't work as well as original launcher. But that's my verdict on all launchers today. It seems third party launchers are stuck where they here 2 years ago, while the original and OEM launchers have progressed.

I've had quite the opposite experience - Nova launcher, Apex Launcher are my favorite launchers - they are fast, stable, and have tons more features than any OEM launcher will ever have. A third party launcher is a must on any non-nexus device as I can't stand manufacturer bloat (a ROM without manufacturer bloat is even better). Also, have you tried the latest updates, these launchers have come a long way since they have been released.

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
