Best way to backup phone fully and restore to a replacement S3?

Thanks guys

I'm rooted but not sure what CWM recovery is. I guess another question I have is how do I remove the root? Since I have to send the phone back to the insurance company

CWM is ClockWorkMod Recovery, it replaces the stock recovery with a powerful custom recovery that allows you to install .zip updates and flash custom ROMs and make full backups etc

Another way is using adb backup. Take a look at this post. Don't need root to do it, and it fully backs up your phone (as far as i'm aware)

ADB backup takes forever I think, vaguely remember trying it back when I first got my TF101 and the devs said it was possible but would take hours/days

Alright that messed up my phone quite a bit lol.

So next time I think I would prefer going the image route. Would something like ROM Manager be a good idea? At this point I don't mind spending $5-10 to have something where when I recover I don't have to go through this again.

Also should I expect to have to hit install every time an app is installed from a Titanium backup? That was annoying
