Michael jackson did lipsync on his last tours, BUT he also did some amazing dancing that wouldn't be possible while singing live, so he gets credit for, while beaver and others just do whatever they do.

theres alot of performers that don't lip sync. depends on the genre. pop is more about the performance than the music, so it makes sense to lip sync.
