I'd suggest making the background colour brighter so that it's more visible, like the green colour behind the page number. I think it's a useful feature, especially in the support forums.

now back to the topic: i like it but could be better: the "OP" can be confusing in such a way that it almost blends with the nick; maybe a color change is enough? like the bar where the OP's name could have a diferent color?

Clear your cache if it looks like the user name, should be in a label of sorts.

Aslo just a heads up to users using themes that are not the default (darkside...), these themes arn't supported so not everything is visible on these themes.

Im not sure if everyone has that problem or not. Maybe quick replies are not seen with OP until you Ctrl+F5. Thats why Im commenting on it :)

Alright, I added something just to see how this works out. So it is possible to do it without any modifications. Will see what Neobond thinks of the idea, and if he's no fan, will remove it. Might be confusing to users so don't know myself.

I welcome the change, although the icon is a little off in its current implementation (as of writing this).

Users of a tech forum confused by such a graphic on a poster's name should really consider whether their membership has anything to do with what they are good at.

Not saying only advanced computer users join us, but seriously, this is a tech forum and average peeps around here probably have enough of logical thinking to get a clue what it means.

But i fear that when warwagon and turion will see OP right beside their name in the joke forum they might actually think they are over powered.

It's still a pretty good idea mind you.

As said a couple times, you just need to refresh/clear your cache. It's actually more like a badge.
