Archieving documents......

I have loads of documents... ( stories and articles rather...... ) i want to keep. How ever i don't want to saves it in doc. ( word documents ). Are there any other programs that would allow me to save and load and edit documents to another popular format??

and could you actually type up document in Acrobat??

Because i am thinking of using pdf files....... any better ideas???

You can change any word document over to a .pdf file with the the adobe acrobat software (retail that is). The free reader doesn't let you but just get the software and it can be done.

Just go to print and use pdfwriter as your printer and works like a charm.
