A woman in Russia is accused of keeping her dead husband's body in the family apartment for nearly three years after he died.

A devout Pentecostal Christian with a psychiatric record, the unidentified woman was so distraught after her husband's death in 2009 that she believed he was "bound to resurrect," prosecutors in the central Yaroslavl region told The Associated Press.

She even asked her children to talk to and feed the cadaver, according to the local prosecutor's office.

An investigation was launched after the man's body was found in the trash in July.

Officials told the AP the woman's five children decided to dispose of the body during a move to another apartment.

lol what???

sheesh, some people

Well one would have to remember that up until and shortly after the Victorian era ... people actually used to have sittings with the dead to take pictures with them.

Even today- people have sitting up (usually done after the body has been embalmed) where people visit the corpse and spend time (in order to help the grief process for the family).

But then again one would think that -- Feeding the Corpse would have caused bloating (from the bacteria).... and the smell ... one would think.

Unless they live in a place in Russia where it does not get above freezing... then maybe...but 3 years.

Microsoft confirmed June 23, 2026, that its Fairwater campus in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, is fully operational — and the engineering behind it makes the facility something fundamentally different from every data center that came before it. Where conventional cloud infrastructure racks up general-purpose servers and parcels out workloads to each one independently, Fairwater links hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GB200 Blackwell GPUs into a single, coherent cluster using a two-story building design, 800-gigabit-per-second Ethernet fabric, and a proprietary networking protocol co-developed with OpenAI and NVIDIA. The result, according to Microsoft, is the closest thing to a purpose-built AI supercomputer that any company has ever placed in commercial operation. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/319205/20260627/microsoft-opens-fairwater-wisconsin-ai-campus-runs-one-supercomputer-via-800g-ethernet.htm
