Hi !

A little backgound :

I have a Samsung SmartTV UE40 Series 6 which has DNLA and Samsung's AllShare.

I also have my Samsung Galaxy S3 (Internation, i9300, rooted and unlocked).

Both my laptop and desktop computers find my tv and can stream video and music to the TV (DLNA), no problem.

With my GS3, when in Galery or movie player I can "send" the picture/music/video to the TV, but when I launch AllShare Play the Phone doesn't fin d my TV. Same thing with allShare Control : no way to detect the TV. And, obviously, when I try to find the TV with AllShare Cast, same thing: nothing at all.

Has anybody any idea about what could be going on ?

Thanks a lot.

Try unrooting, I know some apps will not work if it sees that you are rooted, also are you connecting the computer to the TV wireless or wired? Another thing, make sure that if the working connections are wired that the TV is broadcasting a wireless signal for the phone to find

Sorry, I was away for the weekend...

I've tried with both : rooted and unrooted phone, it just doesn't want to find the TV...

Update :

I've tried using allShare Control with the samephone but with another samsung TV (not "AllShare enabled"), and the phone detected and could control that TV...

I really don't know what's going on... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shakey : I think I did that a while ago but I don't really remember. Would you mind telling me how to check ?

Thanks a bunch !!!

    • That's not what I meant:) I like the tabs being above the URL bar, but previously the tab selection started from the top of the screen (y=0). So I could just quickly push my mouse up and done. Now I have to actually aim it just slightly below the top, because the tab is now a few pixels below the top. In other words, previously I only had to aim with my mouse horizontally, now I have to both vertically and horizontally. Super annoying.
