umm.. Logitech MX1000 doesn't have any leds..

Since when? It'd be the first optical I've ever seen without an LED. Even the cheap 10$ opticals have pretty lights.

I though the MX1000 uses a laser. Do lasers use LEDs?

I'm off to the big U this Saturday, so I get to setup a brand new Workstation. Nothing has really changed, in fact nothing. The cat wouldn't move.

well that's it....I thought my office was messy, I viewed a few of the other submitted pics. WOW the blue light reflecting off the table was a nice kind of...translucent glow though

Well shhhh! If it has any LED's in it, I can promise you guys here that I'll be selling custom colored ones. If not... well... Damn. Can someone post a link to the MX1000 topic I saw on here a few weeks ago, that had 3 or 4 pictures of it, I can't find it.

Thanks. Just looked at the pictures on there and if they're accurate doesn't look like we'll be having pretty colored lights on our mice anymore. Fine fine... I'll add em!

Hehe... I almost forgot about the books. They come in damn handy, otherwise my stereo can't get the remote signal (not that I get a whole lot of use from it).

And the screen is perfect, I use it on a desk from not too far away and I have excellent vision when I have my glasses on.

How much did you get the laptop? Is it fast? What are the specs?

Specs are in my sig. It's fast, but in need of a ram upgrade (I don't like only having 256 ram, I have to get at least 512 to get things working smoothly.

I got it for roughly 1070 dollars with a lot of discounts.
