how much did that t.v. cost you andrewfee?
It was ?650 in January iirc, which is around $1160, and it's a european only model.
this is a moir? effect

it means the CCD resolution of your camera is sensibly the same as the size of the speaker hive pattern on the picture, which makes the camera's CCD badly interpret the pattern while it filters the pic

Thanks, that's what I had thought (just don't know a whole lot about cameras still) it's strange how it wasn't a problem with my old camera though. I guess they must've downgraded the camera specs or something?

nah, not necessarily a downgrade

even my $1400 Nikon D70 exhibits some moir? on specific grid patterns

it all depends on your distance and angle to the subject

and here are my servers, the tower closest to the screen is a Intel Celeron 1.7ghz and its my music and backup server and the one next to is a Petium 2 350mhz running linux, i dont use the linux one for anything, its just there for looks i guess...i guess i could donate it...but anyways...those are my servers, the Celeron is running Server 2003 and the Pentium 2 is running red hat 9, my router and moden are there 2 if u can spot them....my router is hidden more!

man, that small desk is exactly what i need...

where'd you get it?

got it from where i work. we weren't using it any more so my boss said i could take it home. the top is a solid slab of wood (heavy!) and the body is all metal with welded joints. the thing is a beast.

is that the webcam that follows u? like if u moved to the left the camera turns?
