The differences between Home & Pro are minimal. Pro has some EXTRA networking functionallity (for larger networks) and has Remote Desktop stuff. So if u dont need those extra features, then there is no point of spending more for an OS. I have Home and i am very happy.

Okay... my bad...

saying it is not able to network was a little to harsh.... I just ment that it had less network features than Pro.

And the security... come on... with Pro the Auto-recover s on by default, but you have to activate it in Home.

But the number 1 reason I like XP Pro over home, is that it supports up to 2 physical (not logical) processors - while home does not...

BTW... this is not the right thread to be talking about Windows and it's features... :p - I wanna see more desktops! (hope there is a November follow up of this hehe)

Update of my CM Stacker :D

I am confused on your statement. I have used two monitors for a few years now at home and at work and I love it. The CEO has three LCD's and I have used his system a few times and I don't really see a point in more than two monitors for me.

Why is it bad to have "even" number of monitors? Because I don't have a centralized one? My center point is the left monitor, and I can look to the right if I need to.

Are you planning on doing a mod and installing that second power supply actually inside your case? or is that just temporary?

Well, for one, if you play any FPS games, then your crosshair is on a border if you don't have an odd number of monitors. And yes, you should have a center monitor. It just makes sense.

OK, I am wayyyy screwed up with my quotes in the last two posts. The Quote in the first post should have been in the second and I don't know wherer the quopte in the second post came from.

And if your not gaming? I still don't see how it makes sense. Yes, If I played a lot of games that actually supported two monitors (your prog will be nice once it comes out, BTW what is your companies website?) I would then say it makes sense, but why else?

This is exactly what I do too, I have a main monitor directly in front of me and a 2nd monitor to the right which i can put other applications on, or watch tv on.

The name of the company is ICUCOM. We don't have a website up yet, because the only software we have developed has been contract work. This is our first project that will be released to the public. However, the website we purchased is www.icucom.com and hopefully that will be up in the next few months.

err saw those mixed up qoutes :| anyways I'll see if I can get enough space in my case for both psu's but it could bring more heat to the case which I wouldn't want, I just got to see if I can move my rad in more then I could put the psu in that spot since my case has the choice of using 2 psu's :)

Dude you need to clean up that mess... I see a thermometer laying on your desk... Bet that's dusty as hell... Hehehe...

Your computer needs breathing room... You're not letting any air get into the case by covering it up that way...

jafo

LOL... See the tissue/paper towels under the monitor, and the lotion off to the left side of the desk? Somebody's been wanking it...

Wow, who's ass are you pulling that out of? when you have two moniters and load up a full-screen game (We'll take CS for example), it simply runs on your primary moniter like it would if that was your only moniter, and the second one usually just switches t a lower color mode and might shift over a bit if resolutions change. But otherwise, you could turn off moniter #2 and play like you just had one moniter. It's not hard to pay attention to a specific moniter instead of looking in between both of them because that's where th emiddle is, just move your eyes 6 inches to the left and you're set...and I think we can all handle that much physical movement, don't you?
