Here is my Workstation (home workplace - geek place). It?s completely loaded with software development (I am a Microsoft Partner, MSDN & TechNet subscriber, Beta Tester?) and graphic design software (I am a long time freelance graphic designer). Anyway it is a full featured multimedia entertainment center as well, and yes there is a Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback Pro (I am an avid Flight Simulator fan with over 10 years of experience with real time training provided by one of my best friend, who is a professional Boeing 737 pilot). And yes of course a Visual Studio coffee mug ?cause spending so much time with your computer require to drink as much coffee as you can?

I'm not a fan of big monitors. No one needs 1 huge monitor. While I can have 3 windows maximized and showing, you're still stuck with your sad single window. I have 3 monitors for productivity, not to show off the size of my balls.

but he can "maximise" windows by justing vertical alignment or what ever. i just want pixels so saving up for a dual 23" system or 3 20" system :)

easier having 2 23" monitors as i can use one graphics card then :)

its hard to find a decent pci card.

well then i guess that's your problem... posting screenshots and desktop shots to get "props" is bound to lead to disappointment. just post for the fun of it.

well ... this guy has 3 benq 17" flat screens so i guess the only point of argumentation is whether or not dell or benq makes better lcd monitors... probably not much to argue there as it will only become reduced to manufactuer fanboy-dom.

the amount of monitors you have should be an odd number. rule of thumb.

you dont want your center-point to be the bezels of the monitors, now do you?

the problem with triple monitors is a) it's obviously more costly for another monitor + secondary video card b) it may screw with certain applications even more than duals does.

The manufacturer doesn't matter quite as much as the panel maker does. LG-Philips makes the dell panel, and it is a pretty good one. I would still prefer a samsung 213t though...but since I can't afford that I will have to settle on ordering a samsung 910t.

Thanks. The main reason I got the 3 monitors is for work. I only had to buy 1 of them. The company bought the other two. We're working on a piece of software that will allow multi-screen resolutions to work with ANY game out right now. I'll have to take a pic of it in action. We currently have starcraft (I know it's old) working. However, our goal is to have current FPS's and MMORPG's work on multi screen setups.

As for whoever called me a douche... Grow up.
