as for the intellimouse weighing close nothing.. i unscrew the bottom, take a couple of nickles, glue/tape them together, find a spot in the mouse, place it there, and put the mouse back together. it'll have more weight and you'll have more control.

It's a commodore 64 c revision (the cleaner revamped one), about 20 years old now still going strong! My internet is provided by a Draytek 2500 ADSL router. The hub is atm used to provided net access to my Dad but yer the plan was to use it for XBOX lan party though that hasn't kicked of. Yer I plan to hookup my dreamcast to the hub (need one of them ??? japanease Broadband adapters to run Linux), i also hope to add a server to it, and a Gamecube and PS2 when I get them. I would also love to build a clust:p :p.

      Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

      I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
