$47 might not be that large of a debt for school, but isn't this your first year? My cousin is over 100K in debt, but thats after 8 years in school (5 at Penn State+3 at Duquesne) and now he is going to become a lawyer.

I am going to Pitt for engineering and will probably rack up 40k+ in debt, but thats for 4 years (plus I will make more than that in one year...as long as there are jobs here in 4 years)

I'm not sure what to make of it to tell you the truth. It's not as gaudy as some but definately different. It kind of reminds me of a Space Shuttle.

Nice I saw this case a while back in red, it looks much better in blue

Yeah there is also a green one, but it looks a very 'nasty' green so i didnt bother lol. I think its trying to look 'Alienware' but not be too obvious that they are copying lol - my one complaint is that the cooling system seems to be hit-and-miss - although the ACTUAL cooling itself seems fine. My case temps are just as good as my large Chieftec and my CPU temp better thanks to the ducting on the side (the grill on the sides leads down to a funnel to the CPU fan).

The front fan is turned sideways inside the case which looks like it wouldnt do anything, but i guess Asus know what they are doing ^_^ the vents at the front must have something to do with it maybe

Well everything is here and the only thing left is put this thing together. Well before I start building here's a few photos. (Specs are in my signature)

Cheers.

That is insane. Congratulations on being able to build that. The only thing it seems to be missing is a killer RAID configuration. You should stripe like 4 Raptors and use a fifth for parity. :)

And get another 300gig and run raid 1 on it.

BTW how do you like that case? Let us know if it is extra noisy. It seems like it would be because of the cheese grater effect.

had to do this to all of yall.. that triple benq 17" just got shat all over

You'd think I was bragging my ass off right before he posted this.

I've had my setup for a year now. Bout time you caught up to me. To think, I'm not in debt at all, I paid CASH for all my hardware. Plastic can get anyone anything. Might as well add 5 more monitors there, you're not impressing anyone.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
