the box says 5-6 hours, only get 4-5 doh ! but thats pretty sweet for me :shifty:

only if you play a game like c&c generals it last only like 2 hours... :rofl:

also it got a build in subwoover what makes it the best sounding laptop..

Same, but there is a great trick to get 5-6 hours if not more.

Use the hardware profiles, and disable everything u wont need for extended use. For instance, in class i have USB2, Firewire, Ethernet, Modem, WiFi, and the DVD-drive disabled in the hardware managed, then with the brightness down i can hit a good 6:30 hours of use. If i shut the lid, and set itunes running, i can get 8 ish hours.

well this one has a nice option you can turn on acer arcade whitout running a OS and listen to music... almost no power use then :D dont know how long i can can go whit my laptop then..

my 1.6ghz centrino tablet can last about 4.5hours in my power saving setting :)

still need another battery imo. mine are only ?50 though so i may invest in one.

there is a huge pricedifference

it the logitech z-680 they look almost the same but there is a big difference

the z680 is remote controlled and is more powerfull

the ones in the pic are the z-560 like i have, notice the controller and the lack of teh center channel, they are the exact same setup with those two exceptions (the controller also has stand-alone dolby digitial decoding), it's only an extra 100 watts but the price difference is over 200 dollars

Cheap Crapard Bell. Centrino 1.3Ghz, 256Mb DDR PC2100, 20gb hdd, DVD-RW, 15.4" TFT, WiFi, USB2 and Firewire.

Had looked at the acers, but the silver and black syleing on this PB was too sweet, plus at a good price (?799)

i'd recommend sticking another 256mb ( at least ) of that ddr stuff mate. :)

I will do at some point, but at something like ?60 for a stick, it isnt worth it. Mind you, it would be nice to have enough ram to play Halo well:DD
