The background for the site (snow.png 200x200) is set to repeat on the x axis only on the CSS.

Therefore only the top 200px of the site has a background for me. the rest is just blue.

Seems like its missing repeat-y :) (or remove the repeat-x and the browser repeats on both automatically)

also, its like that no matter what BG I choose.

I'm pretty sure it is supposed to be like that for the snow.

As for the other backgrounds, they all load fine here, Windows 8, Chrome, Firefox, Opera and IE10.

they all do it for me? Each BG is a strip across the top

That's how it's supposed to be. It would look tacky if it repeated indefinitely. :o

True, the snow one does looks good just at the top and it fades out to transparent at the bottom. The others shouldn't thought I don't think

edit: they all fill the full screen for me on the news page, but not on the forum. Guessing its some overlap of code between the new snow BG which doesn't repeat and the old full ones which should.

How do I change to snow?

Only tiles I see are the normal ones

Select default.

I don't actually get any background on the forum at all.

The ad has a 100% width box which covers the snow for me. I only see the bottom of it.

Same here. Ad obscures everything else. :(

Actually... it doesn't look that bad if it repeats both ways. Still prefer 'Y' only though.

I'll admit that I use adblock and that's probably why only I have noticed this. since the ad will cover it for anyone else who doesnt. (Didn't even know there was an ad there!)

also, I set the BG to repeat on the Y axis and thought it looked good with the snow, that how I almost failed with my first post

however, I do still see it on the forum with any BG so there is a problem. Was a big "phew" when I noticed that :)

    • BS, I've yet to run into a typical pc user that uses it at all, let alone half the population.

    • The site is pretty sparse on features / tech specs. Can I plug it into a PC/hone/Switch via USB-C and use it as an external display? If so, what's the virtual resolution of the screen, the refresh rate, PPI of the image etc? Is the text crisp enough to use for coding at say 12pt? Is it good enough for playing dark games, like say Path of Exile 2? How about fast games like car racing games? Just how do they expect anyone to order this thing without giving out all this info?
