I have to say, after coming back from Eastern Europe and having good and very inexpensive beer available, I simply can't stomach the big named beers anymore. I was at a cookout a while back and someone offered me a Bud light, and I was like, this doesn't have any beer in it! How can people pay for this stuff, never mind actually drink it. Now, I rarely drink beer, knowing that I'll never be able to get something as good as a 1.5 liter bottle of Zagorka, which cost me $2 back in Bulgaria and was better than any of the big brewers put out, even better than the less expensive Shumensko or Kamenitza which are about on par with MGD. The only beer even remotely approaching the toilet water known as Budweiser was Ariana, and even that was 75% better than Bud.

Sad times. I'm glad though to see that the big breweries that produce tasteless beer are selling less.

It's sad that Bud Light, arguably the worst tasting beer in the history of the human race, is the number one selling beer. American beer-drinking men, for the most part, have no clue whatsoever.

Budweiser (the US American brewery, not the East European brand) is good for one thing:

They have some of the most funny ads running of all companies.

Now thinking about beer and ads I have to think of Dos Equis... Most epic beverage ads EVER.

True. I love their ads during the Super Bowl every year. And that time of year is rapidly approaching.

Oh right... Damn, this time I'll try to watch it.

I'm not really that much into Football, but I definitely think that the Super Bowl would be awesome to watch.

It's hard to get friends together for that I suppose as Football isn't very big in Germany.

*sigh*

one of my local bars in town i go to all the time Called the Spot agian tavern is getting this Brew on Tap

the first one in the list Black bear XX stout

http://alamedabrewing.com/houseales.php

A surprisingly light-bodied stout with hints of chocolate and coffee. Despite being the same color as the dark side of the moon, this beer has a subtle and intricate mouth feel. The Black Bear XX Stout has won two medals at the Great American Beer Festival.

they have good advertisements b/c they have nothing else left to sell. They cant talk about their beer b/c it's water. All they can talk about is "having a good time" and partying responsibly.

    • Still hate Windows 11, I stuck it on my gaming machine again just for a nose to see what they had done, still as bad. Will restore Windows 10 back on it, suit MS anyway, they don't want me to run Windows 11 on it.
    • Ms did go with the you must sign into an account thing with Windows 8 for a while. The same sort of thing they are doing with Windows now and the MS account.
    • Hello, What sort of Microsoft Authenticator account login approval requests are you getting?  It is a generic authentication app and can be used with all sorts of services (Microsoft Account, Google Account, websites and services that support multi-factor authentication, etc.). • Windows 8? Nah. I found Window 8 worked well, get a third party start menu to get rid of the start screen, I used Start is back and windows 8 was pretty good. I used it even when Windows 10 came out as I found Windows 10 was iffy on my machine at the time was AMD FX Bulldozer based. It was only when I updated the innards to Ryzen that I had no choice but to go to Windows 10 as MS made it difficult to stay with Windows 8. ME, yes, that was not great, I liked the look of it, but it was not stable, shame really because Windows 98SE was the best of the dos based Windows.
