Vlad
After an *extremely* clean install of debian, my mouse seems to be really attracted to the upper right corner of my screen. I've browsed around the web, but haven't seen a single conclusive "fix" for it, other than "restart the gpm service" (which has had no effect for me). I'm using a MS optic mouse that plugs into ps2 or usb (currently ps2). Tried messing with the gpmconfig settings, but to no avail. If anyone knows what the hell is wrong, I'd appreciate (REALLY appreciate) some help. Thanks.
MxxCon
it jump to that corner as soon as you move your mouse? could be incorrect ps2 drivers... tried plain 2 button ps2 mouse drivers?
solace
is there really any reason to use GPM? it's got tons of security holes, plus, who needs mouse support in the console? that's all it's good for if you use X, you shouldn't need mouse support on the consoles imo i'd just disable GPM, it's what i do right when i fresh install debian
Vlad
MxxCon: It's set to "ps2" there aren't really drivers for gpm. And yes it jumps straight into the corner the second I move the mouse and stays there. solace: Security isn't an issue with me, and I don't use X. It's not vital for gpm to work, but it would be nice.
