the reason I put this in this category is what I think the doomsayers and the Mayan thing is but just for the sake of discussion what if the Mayans were right? Recently as the news has said a large asteroid passed by "a near miss' as it was put in the news so I got to wondering ..

What if the Mayans were right?

How would the world end? Is there something 'out there' and NASA has not told us or can not detect? global warming going to make this planet unlivable? or is some nincompoop going to put a stupid topic on Neowin for everyone to laugh themselves to death ?

but seriously for a moment lets say they were right and the world ends on Fri Dec 21 How does it end? I say the there is something out there that will slam into us and its over

your first question is wrong....what if the mayans where right? sigh .... the mayans predicted nothing, they existed thousands of years ago and the calendar just runs out, they didn't have a calendar like ours that runs indefinitely.. can't wait till december 22nd...

    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know The ONLY thing I need to know is the price, which I know will be way higher than I (and most people) are willing to pay for a phone... so basically nothing here I need to know. PS: Nice job getting that Apple reference to a non-existent and unrevealed product as "competition" in there. Cheque is in the mail.
