OMG you got a LOGITECH RACING WHEEL! how is it? I want one/.

Hey, it's awesome. It's the G25, not the latest model but I have had it a few years. Never had a problem, even works with win8. It's good with games such as F1 2012, rFactor, Dirt and other games. But I am really looking forward to project cars - ]http://www.wmdportal.../projects/cars/

shot with my monster of a Sony DSC-H20 and yes its a mess but if it wasnt i wouldn't be productive. :p

So where is your emergency fire exit? I think a lot of women would be able to fit in but wouldn't be able to turn around.

It was on the http://www.nasa.gov/ site I often view the 'Image of the day' and keep an eye on the curiosity updates. The nasa site provides really high resolution images :), good for desktop backgrounds.

Ironically asks for the whereabouts of a wallpaper for his desktop... argues constantly that the desktop is dead.

Hurrrr...

You people with your empty desks with nothing on them but a keyboard, a mouse and a monitor make me laugh. Those aren't workstations, they're museum pieces for which you don't get to charge for admission.

The only reason I don't have a spec of dust on my desk is that there's no empty area on its surface for dust to accumulate. It's not messy, it's being used. :-)

A messy desk is just that a mess, not usable foe real work, a nicely organized desk is usable and efficient

Gotta try and sneak a shot of my workstation here when management isn't looking

Yeah but problem is with more than half the empty desks on here are so empty you can tell they dont use it... So if i see a super clean desk it either means they cleaned it before pic or dont use it..

A messy desk and a desk that is a mess is a huge difference.. I swear if I went to other Electrical Engineer's houses and they had a clean organized desk something is wrong lol

I HATE clutter with a passion, my desk is what you would call super clean, yet it works for many of us

Most of the engineers/masters and above seem to agree to this: "A messy desk is a busy desk, a clean one means no work", I do agree however that are very exceptional people that doesn't like messiness.

Well that is different, im talking about I have my desk with projects such as micro controllers, breadboards, books and work... Dunno about these ketchup bottles and ****..

If you took that as obnoxious, then obviously you live a different world than most.

If you spent more time on reading what I said and look at my pictures I am neat and clean. All I SHARING was that IMO if you have a desk it should used for work and I would expect some paperwork or books showing actively.

I dont live in messes, but I believe to keep some form of sanity we must live in chaos. Just another two of my cents before you go off saying im being obnoxious again

If where you live you have tons of people that have areas like that (I have yet to see any), might be time for you to move bud.

Youre real funny guy, made my laugh for the day.

In the end people are happy with just keyboards and mouse on desks, others prefer to use it as workstations as I.

im into this,. Love having a clean desk, i know where everything is and if i need space to work on something its there. No need to move things and lose stuff. But i have mates who have a messy desk and it works for them. each to there own i guess.

You dropped your toys.. they are under your desk..

[pats my U-shaped desk] My favorite desk. My office is almost done. Planning to post a picture of it on here soon.

The other parts of my office.... LOL

Regarding messy desks (I'm the one who started talking about this 2 or 3 pages back)...

I'm a software developer, so I have a multiple monitors / keyboards / laptops / tablets on my desk. I also always have lots of paper notes around me, references, books, wires, adapters of all sorts, office supplies, etc. I'm not going to waste time putting all of these elsewhere for the sake of clearing the surface of my desk every evening when I call it quits, only to move everything back on it the next morning. I just don't see the point of that. When I get back to work, everything's still exactly the way I left it, so I can jump right back to where I was.

That being said...unlike some people posting pictures here, you won't find old food containers, empty drink bottles, etc on my desk. These just don't serve any purpose, and keeping them around just makes you a slob.

I haven't made dramatic changes from the structure of my desk since the last time I participated, but here is my latest desk. The biggest adjustment was to do all matching screens. So I have 3xDell U2410. I also switched from my old Logitech MX 5500 KB set to the DAS Pro and SteelSeries Sensi.

Overall, I'm happy with the state of my system at the moment.

    • I agree. I also think Phil stayed too long. They should definitely fire whoever thought all a console platform needed was Call of Duty, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout to survive. Asha and crew are still saying they need more Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. They simply don't get it.

    • Mozilla highlights Firefox Nova 2026 redesign and more upcoming features with new roadmap by Sayan Sen Last month Mozilla confirmed that Firefox was set to get a major redesign this year. Dubbed "Project Nova", it can already be tested and will roll out to all users later this year. The idea is to keep the browser competitive in a rapidly evolving internet landscape. As such the revamp focuses on improving privacy, usability, performance, accessibility, and customization. Key privacy features including the built-in VPN, private browsing mode, and Enhanced Tracking Protection, will be more visible and easier to manage, while users will have the option to disable AI features entirely through a dedicated kill switch. Additionally, the redesign promises faster page loading, the return of Compact mode, expanded personalization options, and stronger accessibility support. You can find the full details in the dedicated piece linked above. In a new blog post today the company once again reiterated on Nova and also emphasized other new and upcoming features like the settings revamp that is intended to make it easier for users to understand browser settings. In order to make it simpler for users to keep up with such features Mozilla today is launching Firefox roadmap. Hence enthusiasts and interested users will be able to check out what's cooking and also share feedback about the upcoming additions. Alongside the roadmap announcement, Mozilla also highlighted what's new in Firefox 152. One of the biggest additions is the arrival of Tab Groups on Android. The feature, which has already been helping desktop users organize large numbers of tabs, is now beginning to roll out on mobile. Users will be able to group related tabs together, assign names and colors to them, and return to them later. Mozilla says support for iOS will arrive later this year. Firefox 152 also introduces the aforementioned redesigned Settings experience. The company says the changes are meant to make controls easier to find and help users discover features they may not have previously known about. Existing preferences are not changing, though they are now better organized. Another notable addition is the new Blocked Tracker Widget, which provides a visual overview of Firefox's privacy protections by showing how many trackers have been blocked over time and the types of tracking activity the browser has stopped. Looking ahead, Mozilla revealed several upcoming roadmap features. They include customizable keyboard shortcuts, as well as enhanced PDF editing tools that will allow documents to be split, merged, and reorganized directly within Firefox. The company is also working on bringing Multi-Account Containers into the native Firefox experience thus removing the need for a separate extension. Meanwhile Firefox's built-in VPN is set to expand to mobile devices. Mozilla is also developing AI-powered features like Quick Answers, which can provide concise responses to voice queries, and Smart Window, its optional AI browsing experience that is now available without a waitlist. Finally, a new Power Saving Mode is in the works and will help reduce the impact of resource-heavy tabs on mobile devices in order to extend battery life. The video below summarizes the upcoming changes in an easy to understand format: You can find the announcement blog post here on Mozilla's official website.
    • Dead on arrival at that price. Like they missed the mark by multiple hundreds of dollars - this should actually undercut the Macbook Air at $899 if they want any sort of sales / further adoption of WoA
